Ms. Leiper has been part of Scottsdale Unified School District since 1993. She began as a PTO president at her children's school and was a past president of Scottsdale Parent Council. She received her Masters in Education from University of Phoenix when she began her teaching career in SUSD. She taught science at Mountainside Middle School for five years and was an Instructional Coach at Yavapai Elementary School for three years. She is currently the principal at Sequoya Elementary School, where she has been an administrator since 2010. 

Mrs. Wilkinson has been with the Scottsdale School district since 2005  and celebrates almost 40 years in education.  She received her masters from ASU and her bachelor's from the University of Wyoming.  Mrs. Wilkinson brings a wide range of experience, including teaching grades pre-k through 8th grade, curriculum writing, test items and instructional coaching.   She started her administrative journey in 2014 and has been part of the Sequoya family since 2019.

Mrs. Wilkinson shares that she has two extraordinary daughters in college, a handsome husband and a usually well-behaved dog.  When not spending time with her family, she enjoys working in her garden and writing.
