      itzMarlena This is a cute and cozy Christmas movie, that's about it for me. Fans of Jane Austen wouldn't find much similairities between this movie an the original story of Sense and Sensibility. The characters are quite different, the personalities of the two sisters seem to be switched around, with Marrianne being the sensible sister. At the start the dynamics between Edward and Ella remind more of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy from pride and prejudice, while in the original story they were always on good terms. They should've given it a different title though. If the movie had another title and the characters had other names, I would never have reconized the story through the plot. If you are into cliché Hallmark Christmas rom-coms, you should give it a try. It's nice to watch on those hot nights in summer when you long for colder days. Probably won't watch a second time.
