Much better than the Nick Davis Remix/RI from a few years ago. That one sounds digital and flat now. I used think it was special. This AP 45 is amazing - lush and dynamic with great depth. It sounds like you are hearing a real performance and the drums are more natural sounding. My favorite Genesis album that Ive heard a million times and this is the most revealing and enjoyable version I've ever heard.

However, both records were warped and have inner groove distortion on Firth of Fifth and Cinema show that is very jarring and a deal killer. Requested replacements. AS was quick to respond. Fingers crossed that the next pair are of the quality that a $75 record (shipped) should be.

Incredible sound, solid packaging... shoddy pressing; both discs came with edge-warps. Not unplayable, but not something that should happen with expensive records like these.

No edge warps here, and fantastic sound and cover presentation. Acoustic Sounds holds a high bar once again. Literally one of the best so far, and there are so many to come.

Amazing sound for such a brilliant album. Now I have like six copies. Will keep them all, but why listen to anything else? This is well worth the investment. $120 for The Lamb is a bit ridiculous, but had to get so many of these. So far very happy!

Does anyone know when the SACD is coming out and if it's the same source?

Glorious! Just glorious! Hope the others in the series sound like this.

It seems like it sounds cleaner yet clearer, more detailed and far more dynamic.

I’ll start with the positives: This sounds really good and is worth getting. I compared it to the Hi Rez Qobuz version, which is a different mix, and the vinyl sounded more dynamic and the soundstage was wider (take the comparison with a grain of salt though as I’m comparing a digital version going through a decent external dac, Schiit Bifrost 2 vs vinyl on a record player 5x the cost of that dac). Now the bad: both records came with edge warps. For a $65 record, I was hoping for flat records.

As somebody who really likes the punchiness of the Genesis Half-Speed Masters, I was really curious to A/B/C this to that one as well as an original press. I have to say the soundstage and separation on the AP is really noticeable, as well as being much more dynamic than the Half Speed remaster. The Half Speed is much more dynamically flat, the OG a little less so. The AP has tighter bass, and I can actually hear depth and space in the snare and bass drum. Peter's voice has much more air and space around it as well.
Hopefully, this will be a harbinger of the rest of the series!
