What are the reasons for you guys not giving 5* reviews? Just been left 4 stars and I asked the buyer what went wrong, just to be told: nothing, everything is great! Everything arrived perfect , shipped within 48 hours (and I gave some freebies) and this person had zero problems. Just wondering what the psychology is with this? Anyone had similar experiences?

It's strange. Those kind of people seem to be of the belief that nothing and no one deserves the maximum score unless the other person went above and beyond (in their subjective mind). Could mean making the packaging super pretty, or adding a little gift or whatnot. Who knows, these kind of people can only really be pleased when they feel like it. They will do the same for other review systems, like give a perfectly fine, no issues Uber driver four stars. Yet they would most likely get super pissed if someone were to do the same to them.
Basically, they're just unpleasant people who will either be oblivious to how they come off to other people or never understand why other people are not fond of them.
Yeah just really sucks as I don’t get the most orders so every review matters and to just get a lower score for no reason is really frustrating. Particularly since I reserved the item for 5 days for the individual as well! Safe to say, going to leave a lower score as well and we’ll see if they kick off I suppose!
just add to your review that you reserved the item for 5 days and sent them freebies, and they told you everything was perfect and fast but still left you just 4 stars for no reason.
They have no reason to leave you anything lower than 5(even more if they hadn't left a review vinted automatically adds one after a specific amount of time, so this person went out of their way to leave you 4 stars when they themselves said everything was perfect)
Thanks for the advice. I’ll do that and be entirely transparent. Hopefully they can’t amend theirs to be petty.
I agree with replying the the review, and dont worry to much about it as lot of people will actually read the reviews to see why they are lower. I know i do. And ive seen a few were buyers have gave a 4 star but gave good feedback so i still order.
