You need to stop believing what you write and stop living in fantasy world .
Till tomorrow China is the No.1 Culprit is defying sanctions against N.Korea.
At the height of the Sanctions against Nigeria . Russia offered Nigeria a $1B loan as long as Nigeria abstained on Ukraine.
China is in direct competition with the US over Nigeria. They are heavily invested and involved in Nigeria and they will not be involved in helping in any Sanctions against Nigeria their No.2 Client in Africa.
Emotional intelligence is very different from Intelligence based on Facts.
As we speak NAF officers are in China learning more and more.
Relationships are being built and nurtured.
When things get better economically .Nigeria will buy more equipment from China and Russia.

Quite right. We are searching for the truth of what happened and everybody culpable should be dealt with, but I will not let emotions cloud my judgement. Same way as the army lied they were not there initially, so the EndSars protesters lied with all the fake pictures of dead people. Nobody can take the moral high ground.
Don't waste ur time on those people bro

This is by far the most investigate report available online.

He has just said what some of us here have been asking and saying from day one of this incident.

In this case, the accusers need to show culpability.

I don't support this government, but we cannot grow Nigeria by destroying the country with fake news, concocted stories, lies and sensationalism.

I look at the likes of Reno Omokri ranting on twitter daily, and I laugh.

This is a man that has been in government since 1999, worked under Atiku during Obasanjo's regime, worked under Jonathan as vice, worked for Jonathan as President, also worked for Atiku again in the last election.

What did he do all the years he was in power, let us as Nigerians hold our government to account, but we cannot destroy this country all in the name of chasing clout.
Lmao.
Protesters who were on the ground, who carry survivors to the hospital said most of there dead colleague where been removed and dump into the military truck but someone on nairaland who don't want to be emotional, who is nt even in the country and I doubt if he ever participated in any protest in nigeria b4 is calling their traumatic ordeal fake.
I pray 4 u nitori pe, e gbadun tara tara.
Why will I even doubt a bit when this is nt the first time the army have been doing it.

Absolutely agree, If LT Gen Ihejirika(Rtd), did not build that ugly Igirigi, most people would doubt our capability to build the ARA today.
haha, remember igirigi, God, people laughed oh... look at us now. Ara, Ezugwu, making us proud. SDB killing it too. Respect... Much Respect.

but Just to correct a few notions.

Vietnam is a unitary state, and a one-party socialist republic. The Communist party has been in power since the end of the Vietnam war in 1975, and every five years elects a new leadership. The party has 4.5 million members in a country of 93 million people, who have no direct say in how their leaders are elected.

Singapore is a one party state with an illusion of democracy, that has been ruled by the same party, P.A.P since 1965

Nigeria cannot, and should not seek to be in league with these countries; it will not work, it will lead to her quick disintegration, due to Nigeria's multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-party, federal, democratic structure, where freedom of speech and freedom to associate is guaranteed in its constitution.

In Singapore or Vietnam, no one has the right to free speech, meaning no one can speak their mind.

In terms of style of government, Singapore and Vietnam belong in the same league as Chad, North Korea, and China

The league of Nations that Nigeria belong to based on its complexity, constitution and style of government include: America, Australia, Britain, Chile, Ghana, Kenya. e.t.c

End of Correction

Personal opinion:
Often times, people judge development by how many shinny buildings exist in a country, until they live in said country and find that they cannot express their views and opinions beyond what is permissible by the national despot. Nigeria must not seek to sacrifice its hard-won democratic tenets on the alter of vague and promised shinning buildings absent of true democratic values. Not just by mouth, but by practice, allow people to protest, its their constitutional right, do not kill them, shouldn't police have proper riot gear, shields to break up protests? At no time should the Army be coerced into civilian issues, the Nigerian Army should be smart enough by now to know when to stay in their barracks. NA needs to learn a lot more from NAF and NN. Soldiers can be deployed to guard and protect sensitive federal installations against damage, but other than that stay in the barracks, defend Nigeria against external threats, this is the primary job of the Nigerian Army.

Rtd. General Buhari would not be president of the federal republic of Nigeria today if he was shot and killed while protesting pre 2015.

What protesters on the ground said happened is not weightier evidence in court than what the military or police present say happened, which is why harder evidence is required. Besides of the court, what people on the ground say, caries more weight since due to lessons of history people tend to distrust authorities. Best evidence would be dead bodies in addition to clear videos or and pictures of military in the act. It’s no good telling the court that 'military carried the bodies away'. As far as the court may be concerned, you may as well say UFOs carted off the bodies. The court may even believe the words of those that say they saw military cart off bodies but the court cannot act on words alone.

Next best evidence would be the coming forward of relatives and friends of those killed to testify that their loved ones attended the protests and have not retuned home. In addition, doctors and nurses witness to military carting off dead bodies. Yet, you have to understand that without the bodies of those killed being made available in some way for the courts to verify, relatives, friends, doctors and nurses evidence will be circumstantial evidence at best. Circumstantial evidence dose win cases but these often remain contestable. For instance, without bodies and media evidence linking fate of bodies to military action, how does the court prove beyond reasonable doubt that someone or people that come forward to claim that their missing loved ones were killed by the military or police at Lekki are telling the truth or are not mistaken or not being paid by interested political parties?

AK12 variant, really?

It doesn't look like any AK though.

Is it a military or paramilitary or private use weapon?

ISWAP supply route. Any Soldier serving there should never put his rifle on safety. The Absence of Soldiers for over 8 months gave ISWAP so much freedom to move along that Magumeri-Gudzamala-Kukawa Lake Chad areas.

Now the military are back ISWAP is finding it so hard to readjust. That place will Continually be a battleground day in and day out.

Kudos Gallant Soldiers

Since the last massive attack on Mongunno, ISWAP/BHT have largely stopped attacking bases and supercamp. They are now concentrating on isolated military units like patrols and convoys and several soldiers have been lost due to this. The Army should also adapt to the new situation as fast as possible to reduce casualties.

drones and MRAPs is a very good solution.

While this is advised, it shouldn't stop at that, it is a defensive mindset. These terrorists have logistics bases and locations from which they launch attacks from and retreat to. This and many more questions should be researched and a search and destroy operations should be launched. If the military has to create a special unit for this purpose, they should do it. Unless the hunter is hunted, he won't change his ways. Put fear on their minds. Let them continually be on the run. This shouldn't be limited to the Northeast alone but to every part of the country where we have security challenges. Our security officers rarely launch manhunts to neutralize criminal elements.

It is not every time drones and MRAP will be available for both patrol and convoy this where intelligence based threat assessment comes into play , for a location where you know that is recurring infiltration you need more MRAPS,drone and IFV's for fighting patrol not Casual patrol, and if there would be a need for small unit to launched out it will be by discretion on the location .
More MRAP'S should be procured.

During Nile Eagles-1 Exercise, Egyptian Air Force MIG-29M/M2 jets appeared for the 1st time armed with RVVSD/R-77-1 air-to-air missiles which have an improved firing range of up to 110km instead of 80km to the old version.
