A man is charged in connection with a shooting Sunday in Carroll County, Maryland State Police said.Jose Manchame, 41, of Manchester, was arrested Sunday night and is charged with first-degree assault, state police said.According to state police, troopers were called around 6 p.m. on Sunday for a man struck by gunfire at a house party in the 4900 block of Hanover Pike in Manchester. Police did not identify the victim, who was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.On Sunday, authorities said the victim was taken to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office on North Court Street.Authorities closed Hanover Pike for hours on Sunday.
