Chris Sutton sends a blunt message to Sead Haksabanovic after Celtic star's Instagram post

Chris Sutton has told Sead Haksabanovic that he is ‘out of order’ for publicly expressing his discontent after an apparent dig at his current situation at Celtic.

The 24-year-old seemed to express on Instagram on Sunday morning that he seemingly feels undervalued by the powers that be at Parkhead.

But, for Celtic legend Sutton, he made it clear on Twitter that if Sead Haksabanovic has an issue then he should knock on Brendan Rodgers’ door and ‘tell him’.

After the Bhoys were booed off after the goalless draw against St Johnstone yesterday, which saw Haksabanovic make a 30-minute cameo, the last thing Rodgers needs is more issues being thrown on his table.

Out of the League Cup, dropped points and lack of movement in the transfer market, there are enough issues on Celtic and Rodgers’ plate already.

In truth, it wouldn’t be a surprise if someone from within the club tells Haksabanovic to remove his post because he has also been clever enough to not allow fans to comment on it, but Sutton has shared his thoughts below.

“Haksabanovic may have a point but he’s out of order making his point in public,” said Sutton.

“Just go and knock on the manager’s door and tell him if you’re unhappy… and playing well also helps!”

Will Haksabanovic leave before summer transfer window slams shut?

There is talk of Celtic needing to boost their forward line amid too much being asked of Kyogo and the departure of Jota, so the last thing you want to do is allow players in the attacking department to leave.

But if Rodgers doesn’t take too kindly to Haksabanovic’s message, then don’t be surprised if the player is allowed to go before next week’s deadline.

Either way, this next week needs to turn the current mood of frustration into one of hope and elation, or else, the mood heading into the Old Firm isn’t going to be great.
