Seabreeze High School Reviews
Rating 3.76 out of 5 374 reviews
Since I've attended Seabreeze we have had three different principals, in the last two years our new principal Mr. Harris has brought our campus up to a new standard. He's big on spirit and has really displayed his love for our school through the student life. The campus has never been cleaner, and the academics have never been stronger. In my junior year, we ranked number one in our district for academic achievements. The staff is nothing short of accommodating. The best part of high school has been the skills I've learned, my classes are not only aimed at getting me ready for the final but for college as well. I've fought tooth and nail to be in some of the more advanced classes just for the teachers. The only downside to this campus, is being a beach campus means that there's quite a few septic issues. The main one being the constantly flooded bathrooms, repairs to these would be a great improvement to a school already on the climb.
For the size of my high school, there isn't much drama happening throughout the school. The school for the most part is quite safe to go to as nothing bad ever happens. When it comes to academics and fine arts at my school, it's alright. However, the teachers you get can be a hit or miss if you aren't in the AICE program. Even then, the teachers in the program can also be hit or miss as well.
One of the many positives I can think of is the fact that our teachers have always made it so they are a text away from answering a question on the assigned homework or a personal matter that a student needs guidance with. The teachers at Seabreeze Highschool are always backing their students in whatever the students ambitions are and will go out of their way to help the student get to where they want to be. A negative experience regarding Seabreeze Highschool is that most of the school funding goes straight to our unsuccessful football team when their are a handful of other teams that have had major success in recent years. Equal funding to all sports is something I would like to see change in the future.
