Seana Kerslake, Chris Walley and Niamh Algar launched the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Film Festival ( March 15th-17th ) in London.

Chris Walley (The Young Offenders) has just been nominated for an Olivier Award for his performance in The Lieutenant of Inishmore

Seana Kerslake (Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope) is starring in The Hole in the Ground, which has been getting rave reviews and is being called Ireland’s best ever horror film. 

Niamh Algar was voted in the Stars of Tomorrow by Screen International and is currently shooting Ridley Scott’s Raised by Wolves in Cape Town. She also stars in Channel 4’s Pure, and plays the lead in the short film called GONE.

The Hole in the Ground will be released on DVD on April 30 via Lionsgate. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and is currently available on VOD via A24.

Directed by Lee Cronin (Minutes Past Midnight), the Irish horror film stars Seána Kerslake, James Cosmo, Kati Outinen, Simone Kirby, Steve Wall, and James Quinn Markey.

Not only is there no Blu-ray planned, but there are no extras listed for the DVD. You can check out the trailer and synopsis below.
