Scott Levine, a partner at Jones Day, will replace Michael Plowgian as the top OECD negotiator at the US Treasury Department, a source familiar with the Biden administration’s thinking confirmed to Bloomberg Tax.
Plowgian, who announced his departure from Treasury last week, served as the deputy assistant secretary for international tax affairs, where he played a key role in negotiations at the OECD over the international tax pact.
