Great Hotel

Stayed for 1 week over New Year and had a great time. Rooms are modern and bathrooms very nice. Staff are very friendly... we were genuinely well looked after and in a very personal way. The bar next to the hotel is super with tapas served in the evenings. Room was hot when we arrived but quickly rectified by the front desk. The breakfasts are nice especially if you like cake! Extra things could be ordered too depending in availability. The location is super right in the centre. So of course it's a bit noisy but that's the flip side of the location. After a day skiing we didn't have too much trouble getting to sleep but be aware that the Italians like to party over the New Year period! So it's not for families who want quiet. All in all thoroughly recommend

Half Term Happiness

We booked this hotel over a year ago. Price was great value for the accommodation a family room with a partition wall between the Adults and two bunk beds for our kids. Might be the last time we can do this though as the kids are too wise! The room was modern and fresh, the cleaners were amazing and every day the room was refreshed. nb: K2 could really do with shelf space so you can fully unpack, no drawers but the hanging space is too little and we ended up living out of suitcases. It would help the cleaning staff too. Breakfasts were good but the boiled egg thing I didn’t get lets boil our own, it’s all about the timing! Alegria is the bar attached to the K2 run by Karen and Charlotte who were excellent, high levels of competency and always knew what drink I needed! Karen is exceptional and great for liaising with the Hotel staff. Good place for the aging locals and not overrun like the other bars. Aperitivos probably the best in town. K2 is a centre of town location so Fridays and Saturdays can be a bit noisy until the wee hours as the Torino’s come up from the city...the singing can be a bit dull. Great resort, great town and the locals are great!

Perfect Hotel!

Stayed here from 20th-27th January 2019 for our ski holiday to Sauze d’Oulx. We booked the whole holiday through The Crystal website. Absolutely perfect hotel, the location was spot on! Very central and only a few minutes walk to the main ski lift. We also used the ski equipment lockers at the hotel and boot warmer which came in very useful. The hotel was very near the bars/pubs, literally on the same street, a supermarket and amazing pizza place right outside which came in useful daily. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful at all times. They all spoke brilliant English which made it very easy for us who cannot speak any Italian! Breakfast was great, I managed to find something different every morning to eat, breakfast times worked really well for us too 7:30-9:30am every morning. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy and we could tell it was a very new hotel. Maid service was useful every day replacing towels, loo roll etc. Walls are a little thin, we could hear people in the coridoors and next door but neighbours were very quiet so didn’t affect us at all. Slept well every night, the heating was brilliant especially with it being so cold outside at night. Literally the only thing I can suggest for improvement is if the hotel got full length mirrors in the rooms please or even a mirror in the bedroom itself, i struggled slightly having to use a chair in the bathroom daily as this was the only mirror. But genuinely I cannot fault this hotel, thank you for a fantastic week!! I would highly recommend.
