Sorry to all the Aidan fans out there, but there's simply no one more meant-to-be than Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick. These two have been together forever and are one of the few couples to actually make it in the dramatic world of Hollywood romance. Time to take a look back on their super cute 'ship as we all emotionally prepare for the return of And Just Like That...
1991
The year? 1991. The place? Broadway, baby.
SJP had just broken up with her boyfriend (Robert Downey Jr., casual) and got an intro to Matthew through her brothers, who were friends with him. The future couple ended up going out to the movies, but Matthew told The New York Times back in 1996 that "My memory is that literally months passed when I didn't ask her for a date," to which SJP replied, "Your memory is correct."
Matthew would later reveal it was love at first sight for him, saying, “The first time I met her. I saw her walking down the street, and thought, ‘That’s it.’”
February 1, 1992
This is the fated day Matthew finally called SJP and left what she describes as a "very charming, very self-effacing message on the machine. You know, 'Hi, it's Matthew Broderick.' You had to use your last name."

Matthew and SJP marry in NYC! His sister officiates and later muses to People, “I guess it got to be time,” while his mom Patricia says the ceremony was chill, helpfully adding, “They’re not the Kennedys.” (Extra hilarious since SJP once dated John F. Kennedy Jr.)
Sarah later told People, "I never thought about a wedding dress. Never. Had not one daydream about it. At one point I just simply remember thinking, 'God, I really hope he asks me to marry him.' I don't know when or why. It was fairly early on."
