Could be possible but a couple of considerations:If real wants more capacity why not just convert some of the lower stand seated area into standing areas where the ultras are with the ability to convert it to seating for uefa games like dortmund/bayern do for example? Unless there is specific Spanish law preventing it i don't see what the issue is.
Thanks.
Actually it is under the western part of the PITCH not under the stand !
It will be ready for the start of next season. Both south and west low tier will be rebuilt this summer. The last two CL ties at this stadium have been classics that will go down in club history. A shame that the most visible part of the stadium during broadcasts is tarped off.
Is there a timeframe for when that tier will be reopened? Assume it will be operational in time for CL knockouts next season.
So those pictures of the cave that we're seeing is actually going on under the current pitch?Actually it is under the western part of the PITCH not under the stand !

What Ultras? Florentino Pérez kicked them out many years ago.If real wants more capacity why not just convert some of the lower stand seated area into standing areas where the ultras are with the ability to convert it to seating for uefa games like dortmund/bayern do for example? Unless there is specific Spanish law preventing it i don't see what the issue is.
Does the entire project still seem likely to be finished by December as originally planned? It will be ready for the start of next season. Both south and west low tier will be rebuilt this summer.
