Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School

Founded in 1881, Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School is a Catholic college preparatory high school with a proud tradition of educating students for more than 140 years. Our welcoming campus is located in a safe, residential neighborhood of Alameda, a quaint, tree-lined town near San Francisco Bay. Consistently ranked one of the most diverse private high schools in the nation, diversity, equity, and inclusion are core components of an SJND education, as are our dynamic academic and student life programs. SJND’s curriculum is rooted in critical thinking and project-based learning and features unique science offerings, award-winning visual and performing arts, and a dedicated counseling department. With an emphasis on faith, service, and self-discovery, students are encouraged to take advantage of our robust campus ministry and student life opportunities, with over 30 student-led clubs, plus a successful athletics program with over 70 percent student participation.
