2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in four games (Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska) to preserve his redshirt season . . . completed 15-of-23 passes (.652) for 139 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions . . . compiled a total of 67 net rushing yards on 13 carries . . . played a total of 45 offensive snaps . . . was 1-for-2 passing with a TD on lone completion of the Nebraska game, hitting Montorie Foster Jr. with a 25-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter, also rushing twice for 2 yards, in playing two series . . . threw first TD pass of Spartan career at Minnesota, hitting Tyrell Henry for a 9-yard TD in the fourth quarter, ending the game 8-of-12 passing for 73 yards with one TD and one INT, recording season highs for completions, attempts, yards and TD . . . also rushed six times for 52 yards with a long of 22 yards, MSU’s longest rush of the day . . . was 4-for-7 passing for 32 yards in Michigan game, adding three rushes for 6 yards . . . made Spartan debut in Maryland game, entering with 1:30 to play in game, registering a rush on first play, before completing first pass for 5 yards to Tyrell Henry and a 4-yard rush to Antonio Gates Jr., then rushed 8 yards for a first down on the game’s final play, finishing 2-for-2 passing for 12 yards and rushing twice for 7 yards.
