Melanie Sykes and Coronation Street duo Sally Lindsay and Catherine Tyldesley are among the most recent celebrities feared to have had explicit pictures leaked.
Twenty-three photos of Mel were reportedly posted online after iCloud accounts had been hacked; several of which see her naked and others topless.
There are six pictures of former Corrie star Sally, allegedly posing naked in a panto dressing room, while one picture of Catherine shows her in her underwear.
The new comes as Corrie star Kym Marsh also had stolen private photographs of her posted them on porn sites and has now contacted the police
‘She made a report to the police as soon as she was made aware of it and is desperate for them to find the person who is responsible,’ a source close to Kym told The Sun.
‘The police are treating this as a case of revenge porn and so are of course treating it very seriously. Kym has done nothing wrong, so she is horrified to be in this position.
‘This is a nightmare for her.’
According to reports, the intimate images were shared on a ‘sordid celebrity website’ before they ended up on adult sites.
The picture leak has apparently come as a ‘huge shock’ to Kym, as many of the photos are old and she does not know how they fell into the arms of hackers.
‘It’s very upsetting for Kym and has come as a huge shock as they are clearly private photographs that should never have been put into the public domain,’ a source told the Mirror.
A spokesperson for Catherine told Metro.co.uk: ‘Cath will be speaking to her legal and media representatives regarding the matter this week.’
