Salesianum School is where I’ve found myself immersed in a challenging yet supportive academic environment. The school’s emphasis on excellence, both in academics and character development, has shaped me into a well-rounded individual. With top-notch facilities and passionate teachers, Salesianum offers not just education, but an experience that prepares me for the future.
Beyond academics, Salesianum encourages me to explore my interests through a variety of extracurricular activities, from sports to clubs to community service. It’s a place where I’ve not only grown academically but also personally, learning the values of leadership and service. Salesianum School isn’t just a school; it’s a community that fosters growth, compassion, and lifelong connections.

Transferring here was one of the best things I have ever done for myself and I would never go anywhere else. It is expensive, especially for my family, but every penny is worth it
Going to Salesianum was a great experience. I came into this private school in Delaware as a kid from New Jersey knowing about ten other kids. As I reflect now as a senior, I realize how much I’ve changed with regard to those around me. The best part of my experience is definitely the community. Everyone at the school just likes each other.
Worst part is food is exprnsisve and sports are Uber competitive, but allows me to push myself in all aspects
The best education and true brotherhood you can find. Worst thing is lunch is to expensive. Maybe bring in some lunch trucks about lunch time with different price ranges and different type of meals. Other than that nothing needs to change! We are SALLIES!!!
I have loved attending Salesianum for the past 4 years. Both my brother and father attended, but I wasn’t so sure it was right for me. The school encourages students to build strong friendships whether it be through academics or sports. They make sure that everyone has a place, and are a huge help with applying to college.
The school prepared me and other students for rigorous college classes very well. The sports and student culture is unlike any school in the area and every student makes everyone feel welcome.
Sending our sons to Salesianum School was the best decision we ever made.
I have three sons with very different interests. My boys have participated in band, theatre, Science Olympiad, basketball, soccer, baseball, tailgate club, ping pong club, guitar club and others.
Academically I could not ask for more. My oldest two sons were both accepted into many colleges with scholarships and are currently in the Honors Program at UD. Sallies prepared them with the study and organizational skills to be independent and successful in college and later in life.
The best part about Sallies is the brotherhood. My sons have each met "their people" and have made life long friends. My two sons in college still hang out with their Sallies friends on breaks. Sallies teaches the students about hard work and dedication as well as humility and compassion for others. Sallies develops the students to be well rounded respectful adults.
I could not be happier with our experience at Salesianum.

I could not be happier with our experience at Salesianum.
Excellent education while developing us in the faith. The focus on individualized growth prepares us for college and becoming a productive and charitable member of society. The education, sport programs and arts are the best in Delaware.
Attending Salesianum has been a great experience for me. The brotherhood, the sense of community, the traditions, and service to others is what sets it apart from any other school in the area. Academics and athletics are also top notch.
Great school and brotherhood! Allows the students to be themselves. Embraces the individual. The school offers a variety of activities and has excellent sports programs. The athletic stadium is amazing and the best in the state
I’m really just trying to get the scholarship. I’ve been having a really good time at Sallies though and it really becomes a community after a while. There’s a ton of school spirit here.
Aside from elite education the brotherhood bonding is amazing. From a parent perspective Sallies is what a student makes out of it. Get involved, take advantage of opportunities (BRIDGE trips, etc), those programs set Sallies aside. Amazing teacher support. Sallies knows how to educate and set expectations that students need to live up to.
Very good school; good academics, sports, community involvement as well as school facilities and clubs
Salesianum has a name to uphold. So do the students there. They like to use the phrase,"you students are standing on the shoulders of giants," and they are correct. But what goes largely unnoticed is that many of the students themselves are already well on their way to growing to sizes of larger proportions while being supported by each other and the amazing faculty at the school. I honestly really did not want to go to Sallies when picking out high schools, but with parents like mine, I never had the freedom to choose. Yet some how I come to be satisfied with the decision that was made. The athletics are top notch, musical productions never disappointed, there was always an activity to take part in or game to be played. The academics were great not just because of the entire extremely competent teachers, but also because of the many bright young individuals working their hardest. In the end I was very happy to have graduated from Salesianum and to have found a home with those I'd met
If youre looking for a liberal, preppy, private school this is the place for you. Unfortunately though the school advertises itself as roman catholic, and many kids get duped into thinking it is, well, a catholic school. But intead they get a bunch of far-left diversity training and heretical viewpoints.
The school is dying too, enrollment is down and you can really feel it. Most of the money comes from rich alumni, and therefore the school is pretty much run by them, which means flashy stadiums and landscaping but no air conditioning or classroom remodels. Teacher turnover rate is insane too, most teachers don't last more than 3 years(my guess is a toxic work environment.) If i were you would save my 72 grand in tuition money and spend it elswhere.

Salesianum provides strong academics, competitive athletics, and a welcoming community. You will meet lifelong friends and have great experiences. The teachers are always willing to help you, too.
The Salesianum School has helped our son identify his academic strengths and new ways of creative thinking. The school atmosphere is very positive and your not just a number. The teachers care about their students overall well-being and there's a support staff to assist with any and all issues. The school staff consistently kept the parents informed of school happenings, community events as well as staff and curriculum changes. There's an excellent parent volunteer group that's involved in all school events.
Salesianum is a great high school! Best four years, great sports, caring teachers and a close community.
The school is fervently dedicated to providing the highest quality of education to its students. Both the teachers and administrators care deeply about the wellbeing and success of students.
