Beautiful church. Very welcoming. A lot of statues, stained glass. I was there for a deacon ordination. Wonderful music. Good music guides.

This is the highlight of our year! The nickname is "the great get-together" and it really is top-notch for people watching! The food, the entertainment, the rides, the shopping... how can you not want to go every day of the fair? :)

We love to revisit the Avenue. If you like historic mansions, don't miss! Also a fun place for a jog or run. One of our Xmas traditions is to see everybody's lights.

Enjoyed all the various displays here. Took a lottery longer to go thru than expected, pleasant surprise. Was a bit frustrated they don't accept Time Travelers discount/reciprocal as advertised. Enjoyed the Peanuts display

Stopped in on a Saturday and it was busy but not overcrowded. A lot of history and beautiful architecture and craftsmanship to take in. We did a docent led tour and it was so worth it. Did a great job of sharing the history of the home and the area.

We visited on a Saturday morning, and the area near the capitol was not very crowded, and we were there right as the building opened at 10 AM. They do free tours every hour on the hour, at least when we visited, and they were high quality, the guide knew a lot and could answer questions. Unfortunately we didn't have long enough (they run about 45 minutes) and had to leave the group early, so we missed the ending highlight of seeing the golden horses on the roof up close.

The interior of the building is lovely, and we were impressed that we could wander as we pleased on our way in and out, taking photos and admiring the many lovely artworks and architecture. This was definitely a highlight of our time in the area and well worth a visit. We just should have allocated more time!

This is beautiful stadium. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the place. It is very family friendly, great selections of foods and you feel like you are in on the game. All seats are pretty close to the field. Entertainment during innings is fun and charming. Tickets are pretty cheap, even for a family.

Visited the Xcel to watch The Cure in concert in June 2023. I prefer seeing concerts in much smaller venues like First Avenue or even The Palace. However, for such a large venue, it was still a good concert experience. It helped that we had floor seats, and that Robert Smith performed such an amazing show. However, it was a well-organized venue. No problem with entrance and security checks. Plenty of concession stands to get food or a drink. No lines at the restrooms. Only gripe is security at the concert were a bit annoying pestering people if they were even a few inches out of the row into the aisle.

THANK you to Gary (his dad was a senior engineer) for the wonderful tour, photo ops and detailed explanation of all it took to run the coal fired steam engine. He brought the Engineer's operational role to life along with the fireman and brake men. I am very interested in my family's RR employment history and he highlighted the duties and dangers of various crew members. Additionally, my young grands accompanied me and they soaked up the experience of walking through various cars and of course enjoyed watching the model trains.

The volunteers are eager to engage in conversation while guiding guests through the displays. Their passion is evident, and I look forward to participating in a train ride with them in the future.

The Fort Smelling Fort is run by The Minnesota Historical Society & there volunteers, as a veteran I don't have to pay an entry fee. From the visitors center in's a short walk to the fort but there are golf carts to take people with walking troubles to the entrance. The Fort itself was still in use up to the second World War & you are giving maps to help you find your way around. The Guild talks about life in the fort from Fur trading to the slavery in the fort, you see the fur house, hospital, CO house. It was a harsh place to be posted to in the early days.

I have been going to the Ordway since I was a kid. Some of the best performances I've seen have been here. I always look forward to Opera season and this one is shaping up to be another great season. Parking is pretty much next door. You only have to walk a few seconds outside across a small courtyard as it is not accessible by skyway.
