Hugo’s is Vegas’ best kept secret in Old Vegas. Our family has been coming to Hugo’s for decades when we’re in town and now our spouses & their families! It’s such a unique gem with amazing food & top notch service from start to finish!!

From the moment you step into the cellar you are welcomed. Each woman is given a beautiful rose. Service is great- I love the salad made table side with the orange vinaigrette dressing. The extra items like the raspberry sherbet, hot towel and chocolate dipped fruits make it a wonderful dining experience when you are tired of buying food a la carte. We valeted as well and even though they weee short staffed Joe was fast and pleasant. Would definitely return.

Everyone’s meal was excellent. French onion soup was possibly the best I’ve had, and the Cherry Tart Chicken was huge.

We attended Hugo's for a special occasion. Everything was outstanding with a little splash of humor and charm. The food was of good quality, portion, and very tasteful. The atmosphere was relaxing with a touch of class. We are very grateful that our special day was made even better at Hugo's.

Food was great, as usual. Unfortunately the wait staff & sommelier was not. We waited 10 - 15 minutes before our waiter first came to our table after we were seated. Our waiter did not ask if we wanted appetizers, just asked for our order. The server assisting the waiter was not engaged to the experience. The sommelier was definitely not top notch; sloppy opening of the wine bottle & pouring.

The food was fantastic, and the wine was extraordinary. Kinda odd being in a basement, but most of the steakhouses on Fremont Street are in similar settings. Overall vibe was nice. Service was good, but did feel a bit rushed at times. Overall, though, a great fine dining experience.

What a wonderful experience! Table side salad, thoughtful preparation and details for every course. Felt like a time warp in the best way. Eddie and Roxanne were so attentive and made our anniversary dinner so lovely. Worth every penny

Hugo’s never disappoints. It’s truly an experience from the individual rose given upon arrival to the table side salad to the mini sorbet palette cleanser before a perfectly cooked steak and finally the chocolate covered strawberries. It’s a must do when coming to Vegas!

Escargot is very good. I had the Prime rib cooked to perfection. Salad is made at table side and an assortment of toppings. Full bar and wonderful staff.

My husband and I made reservations for Hugo's Cellar to celebrate our upcoming wedding anniversary. Right from 5:00pm, when our reservation was and when Hugo's opened their door for the night, we were very politely greeted and seated at our booth..Of course I was given a beautiful long stemmed rose too. The waiters were right there to take our oder and from then on, everything was absolutely wonderful. The food was out of this world. I ordered the Queen's Lobster and I have never tasted anything so amazing. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and they were cooked to perfection..OMGOSH, I just cant say enough about the scrumptious food and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We will be back very soon.Thank you for an amazing time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was exceptional. Our only compliant was, a large party at an adjacent table was very loud especially when you consider the high quality and rating of the restaurant. Said another way, we expected a more intimate setting where we could more easily talk to each other.

Disappointing this year over other times. Waiter was inattentive and disinterested. Eventually pulled from our table after we expressed disappointment to the Sommelier. Food this time was only fair. Hope this was a one time aberration.

Service was very good by everyone. Gene, our server, was attentive, polite and personable. Food was truly over-rated and outrageously expensive. Ordered the Beef Wellington. Overcooked steak had a seared surface with a char and the pastry was obviously added later. Side dish was the au gratin potatoes (which we had to pay extra for), was extremely dry and appeared to have been reheated about three times. Passed on our comments to Gene, who said he could make adjustments to our bill. Decided to leave well enough alone since we did eat it. This restaurant is almost symbolic of Las Vegas. If you stick a high enough price tag on something, you might be able to fool people into believing they're having a wonderful experience. Extremely disappointing

The service was exceptional, however, after being offered the specials of the night, we ordered them thinking they would be on par or less expensive than the other entrees. The food was good but not worth the $360 we were charged for 2 specials, no alcoholic beverages, no drinks, no appetizers nor desserts. We were truly shocked by the bill. After tip it was a $410 steak dinner. . . in the Fremont district.

You know, we have eaten at Hugo cellar probably around 20 times. I always recommend it to people. The service has usually been impeccable and the food is not only a great value, but is delicious. The last time, however something was off I can’t quite put my finger on it. The food was still good. I love going to Hugo’s because of the bread and the salad. They have a great lavash bread and they toss a salad for you at your table. This time, there was no tossing of the salad, the server just piled it on a plate. Still good, but not quite as nice. and it took so long to get our salad that we had eaten about 12 pieces of bread each, the service was extremely slow. When I go to a nice restaurant, I plan on spending around two hours usually, but our dinner took over three hours. We just couldn’t wait to get out of there and that is not the usual experience that we have had in the past. Our main server had absolutely no personality and never even checked in on us while we were waiting forever for our food.

We went to Hugo's last year and had a great time and our waiter was amazing. We went there last night and won't be going back again. The food was good but when we said to our waiter David that the Beef wellington was way undercooked and the pastry was still raw, he just looked at us and did not know what to do. He then asked us if he should speak to the manager and then he cane back with the offer of a piece of cake. The manager Steve did not show the courtesy of even coming to our table. When you are paying almost $100u.s for Beef Wellington, I don't think it is too much to expect good service. We tried to order an espresso but our waiter told us that their machine was not working and when we asked what else they have he could not explain what a Cappuccino was. Overall a very frustrating and disappointing evening

Top notch service as always. Table side salad service is excellent. Meals are all inclusive, unlike many of the steakhouses in Vegas, in which everything is a la carte.
