We came on a busy Sunday morning but the wait was worth it. Our server was so helpful and gave me input on how to order everything I wanted without it being too much food. We even tried scrapple for the first time and loved...it. A delightful experience.More

I love this place. Huge portions. Great taste. The fidget spinner was both creative in design and delicious. The burgers were packed full of goodness. Mel's chicken had a nice lingering burn. Long hots=jalapenos. The powdered sugar on the sweet potato fries was a bit...different. All wonderful though!More

I went to the 9th & christian st. Location on 10/4/20 the servers looked overwhelmed they forgot my order and when it arrived the meat was raw, so I sent it back and decided to get the shrimp taco thinking theirs no way they can...mess that up, well think again the tortillas tasted like cardboard and stale. I never once got an apology the server paid no attention to use at all I felt like I was being racially profiled to be honest. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time need less to say I will not be going there again!More

We had lunch here with friends from out of town mid-week. It was noisy and crowded at 1:00 pm, but we got a table and got water and menus promptly. The sandwiches and soup were quite good - hand made, I believe, and not just...microwaved. We had to wave to our waiter several times but enjoyed ourselves in this attractive place. The prices were very reasonable.More

Sabrina's on Callohill St. was one of the very few breakfast places on our way from our Central Philly hotel (close to the Convention Center) to see the Eastern State Penitentiary (ESP), where we had a scheduled entrance. Unfortunately, we had to wait a ridiculous...45 minutes for our breakfasts, and we missed our entrance slot. The food as such was not too bad, though you can't enjoy it much when you have to gobble your meal in less than five minutes once you finally get it. Luckily ESP had a quiet day and was not too concerned about us being late. However, running there in 90+ degrees was no fun.More

We were seated pretty quickly. The service was very slow, both order taking and food coming out. The food we saw coming out all looked really good, and there was a nice variety of menu options. Unfortunately our requests were ignored. For me, I asked...for no onions, and my breakfast burrito had cooked onions inside and raw ones on top. My husband had the eggs rancheros, and asked for cheese, and didn’t receive any. We would’ve sent everything back but it took so long for the food to arrive. My stomach was upset all day from the onions.More

One of my friends recommended this restaurant from TX and she is vegan. So if she says the food was great I had to check it out. We were in Philly for the Women's Philly Triathlon and after I was done and was HUNGRYY!!! So...after taking a shower, and checking out the hotel, we drove to Sabrina's, and the location we went to was by Drexel University. The drink I had was mango limeade what in da world. It was so amazing, Mango pureed and pieces of a real mango were amazing and that made it so good. Then I ordered the Ultimate Mexi scramble. Usually, when you get scrambled eggs and you want extra stuff in it, there is an additional price. Not with scrambled eggs, everything that I wanted in there was in it. It was so delicious and I will be back again next year with more friends.More

Had to sit outside but really greqt side area nice breeze on a sunny day in Philly. Enjoyed my Philly omelet and wife, and daughter split two items, California omelet, and an order of mushroom toast. The ladies loved their meal with a side salad...and one with whole grain toast and home fried potatoes nice and crunchy but soft and chewy on the inside. My Philadelphia omelet was filled with sausage, mushrooms roasted pepper long, hot pepper, provolone, and Parmigian. Cassandra, our server, was completely all over, making sure each table in the outdoor area was happy from when we walked in until we were done. The outdoor area had a lite breeze and was comfortable nice and shady with umbrellas over all the tables. Nice brunch in a city filled with places to go.More

Casual environment. LONGGGGG wait on Sunday which was the downfall. When we sat down, the food came out quickly and was prepared just as we ordered. Mikah was our server and was excellent. The food was so good we went back 3 days later! Still...just as great! Recommend sharing a sweet dish versus ordering as a main meal. The wild berry canoli French toast was shared with the table and everyone loved it. Too sweet for a single person meal IMO.More

Ok food, stuffed French toast yummy but very sweet, granola and yogurt not that great. The portions were far too big and they couldn’t do a half portion of the huevos rancheros was ridiculous. Obviously the air conditioning wasn’t working as it was very very...hot inside. Service was quite slow as well.More

I stopped here because I was heading for the nearby Philadelphia Art Museum and because of the reviews. Staff were accommodating but weren't overtly impressive. I had the two eggs any style and buttermilk pancake (full stack). The pancakes are giant and there is a...noted difference between the half stack (two) and the full stack (three). They were well made and complemented well by the cinnamon and powdered sugar. For the eggs, they were okay but I'm usually not too crazy over restaurant eggs because they're usually cooked in butter, so this isn't a slight at the restaurant necessarily. The potatoes were quite large for breakfast potatoes and slightly under seasoned but weren't bad by any means. The toast was nice but we weren't provided with any butter or spreads. The sausage was good but I'm not sure if it was worth the extra cost. I also ordered freshly squeezed orange juice which was quite good. For the price, it's a great breakfast option especially if you are heading to the museums.More

Consistently good Philadelphia breakfast/brunch site. Excellent avocado toast with in season avocado and tasty grain bread. Solid lox and bagels, short on capers but really tasty pickled onions. Good and safe service. Everyone in party rule is annoying in the winter when it is freezing...out!More

On Tuesday morning, DH & I were in Philly visiting Perelman at HUP. We asked for a breakfast place recommendation & without hesitation we were directed to Sabrina’s Cafe in University City. Since we were parked in the Perelman garage & the cafe only has...street parking, we decided to walk the 1.5 miles. It was an easy flat walk. We were offered a table immediately but chose to wait the 10 mins for a table along the front windows. On the way to our table we spied everyone’s food. We knew we came to the right place. It all looked fresh & delicious. The front window area is cute and the noise level was lower. Having no experience with the menu we took our time deciding what to order. Our server was very patient. I ordered the Cannoli French Toast. Can’t go wrong when you love cannolis, berries, & French Toast. I was blown away by the flavor, quantity & presentation. The amount of cannoli cream & shell pieces truly complimented the berries & French toast. Dessert for breakfast - yes please. I was truly happy with this meal. DH ordered the Huevos Rancheros. He was blown away by his meal too. The flavor, quantity & presentation were spot on. Only drawback was after a bunch it bites the spice became too overpowering for him. He said it was delicious, but too much spice for him. It you like it spicy hot he says you won’t be disappointed! We’re looking forward to coming back each time we’re nearby & eating our way thru the menu.More
