I’ve had a pretty negative experience with this high school. I’ve came into many situations where I felt unsafe or bullied by other kids and I had to go above and beyond for myself to feel protected. For example, a rumor had went around about me and girls wanted to jump me, therefor I told administrators in which their response was “go handle it like a big girl”. They ultimately picked favorites and believed them over me when I’d try to get help. When I was being picked on in class everyday and asked for a class change it was not granted to me at all, whilst a girl who they always talked to in their office got the opportunity to only go to schools on Monday because she just didn’t want to go to school. Lastly I’ve been targeted at school a lot not only by kids but my administrators especially female administrators who have closed me in their offices and confronted me. Academics are pretty good, but bullying and harassment goes unheard of in order to protect their school name.
My overall experience in Ryle has been good, I loved the business department at ryle and feel as though it has really helped me a lot throughout my four years there. It has prepared me a lot for college and even real world problems. Overall I would rate the school a 90/100
Ryle is an amazing school to attend. Our principals make it very know that they love and care about each and every student. For example we had a tragedy last year where we had lost a student to suicide. During this event they brought in extra counselors and were very accepting of those in pain from this and giving them someone to talk to. It was a very heavy time for many students but we all pushed through it together. Ryle is a very talented school when it comes to sports and academics. You will be pushed to do your best always and will be given help whenever you need it.
