The royal family has released previously unseen photos of Prince Philip following his death last Friday.
Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a family photo taken at Balmoral Castle in 2015 that shows Philip and his wife Queen Elizabeth II with two of their great-grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
"Today we share, along with members of @theroyalfamily, photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh, remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather," read the caption on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official Instagram account. "This picture was taken at Balmoral in 2015."
Another photo, taken by Kate in 2018 and shared by the official royal family account on Instagram, shows the queen and Philip with seven of their great-grandchildren.
The photo shows Prince Louis, Kate and William's youngest child, cradled in the arms of the queen, in a rare display of affection from the monarch. Also in the photo are George and Charlotte, Zara Tindall's daughters Lena and Mia and Peter Phillips' daughters Savannah and Isla.
Since the photo was taken, three more royal great-grandchildren have been born: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie, Princess Eugenie's son August and Zara Tindall's son Lucas. Both August and Lucas have Philip as a middle name.
The Twitter account of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also posted two photos to remember Philip—one a black-and-white image of the late duke and a young Charles playing polo.

Princess Eugenie also posted a tribute on Instagram on Wednesday.
"Dearest Grandpa, We all miss you. You would be so touched by all the tributes that have been shared with me the past few days," she wrote. "I will remember you in your children, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you for your dedication and love for us all and especially Granny, who we will look after for you."
On Monday, Prince Harry, who has flown home to the U.K. for the funeral, released a touching tribute to his grandfather.
"My grandfather was a man of service, honor and great humor. He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp wit, and could hold the attention of any room due to his charm—and also because you never knew what he might say next," Harry wrote.
"He will be remembered as the longest-reigning consort to the monarch, a decorated serviceman, a prince and a duke."
Philip's funeral will take place on Saturday at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. Because of coronavirus restrictions, there will be just 30 guests.
The coffin will be carried to the chapel on a specially modified Land Rover with family members following in a procession.
