Royal Bank of Scotland currently has two series of banknotes in circulation: The Ilay Series and The Fabric of Nature Series

The Ilay Series, launched in 1987, is unique due to it being the only series to still include a £1 note.  The Ilay Series will eventually be replaced by the new Fabric of Nature Series which first launched in 2016.
