Subreddit for the Wonka movie starring Timothée Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Colman & Rowan Atkinson. A prequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory focusing on the early exploits of Willy Wonka - the future proprietor of said chocolate factory - who explored the world and beyond looking for exotic treats for his latest creations.
are we sure this willy wonka is a good guy?
at the very beginning of the film where is at scrubbit's place the part where he yell's "the most astonishing creation"he kinda looked a little off
There is no denying he is insane, but he isn’t “brutally disfiguring kids” insane.
I see. what does disfiguring mean? throughout the whole movie he was mostly calm
I was saying he looked good and nice compared to his adult version, aka Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Where he doesn’t care if children die or are disfigured.
willy wonka is an adult in this movie though he is 22 in this film. also in the 1971 he does care for the children but the children didn't listen to him so it's not his he did try to warn them but they didn't listen to any of his rules so really he was a good guy even in the original the only difference is in this film he doesn't angry loke he did the original film but that wasn't till the very end also he had right to
He’s a good guy just a little bit of loose screws
that was just him being silly
i yellw like that sometimes but i am still good a person
He’s not a bad dude, just eccentric
Willy Wonka is a sales man, but he also wanted ti get their attention and keep it. He is selling in the place with Slugworth, Ficklegruber, and Prodnose, so he had to do something to stand out from the three best chocolate makers in the world at that point; he put in a show to keep interest.
yeah obviously he is supposed to be the heroe so there for he is a nice guy
