    According to the Classic Records website, Rough Mix, the '77 release by Pete Townshend and Ronnie Lane, is coming out on Friday on premium vinyl. With prominent work by Eric Clapton, this is a tremendous album. Since the CD is nothing to write home about, I hope that the vinyl is something special.

    Pete Townshend scrapped his fan website just weeks ago, but on eelpie.com, they announced they will be selling the Thunderclap Newman CDs. Should be the same CD that was out for a short time in America with bonus tracks, as it seems indicated on his website.

    So, if you wanted a copy of Newman, here's your chance. Pete played bass and produced the album.
