Early Game Development[]

Rohan was in love with the game Pokémon.

"I was addicted to a game called 'Pokemon'; why can't math be as addicting a video styled Pokemon game?"

It gave him the idea to create a math MMORPG styled game called, "Prodigy", which covers the 1-8 grade math curriculum. Early on, they went to 2 schools testing out their program experiencing many trials and errors. He started changing his business into a "freemium" base game when private schools refused to pay for Prodigy. He started writing the game in HTML5 for a wider-range of devices to run Prodigy. This early development stage grossed over 5,000 new students logging in and trying his program.[2][3]
