I typically love this restaurant, I’ve dined here quite a few times with family and friends. When going to check in, the hostess couldn’t find my reservation. I showed her the confirmation, she barely looked at it and said “we will have to seat everyone else before you because they have reservations”. Well so did I! I’m pretty sure they sat people who had later reservations who arrived after us. As someone who was a hostess for years at a fine dining restaurant, I understand the stressful situation so I was pleasant, yet was greeted with harsh tones as if it was my fault that the reservation couldn’t be found. To seat every living breathing person before our table of 4 seemed petty and rude, and we waited for about 30 minutes after our reservation. Management apologized to us multiple times for the wait as if we were just walk-ins. The waitress was nice, however we had to ask for bread after appetizers came out. Food was wonderful as usual which made up for the attitude of the front desk hostess. In the future, please look into why a reservation is missing and try to get the table sat in a decent amount of time, as it is not the fault of the customer that there is a glitch in the front desk computer. Might take a break from coming here as the experience left a sour taste in my mouth, which is truly a shame as it was one of my favorites.

It was a very enjoyable evening at Chadwicks. The early specials are a bargain at $ 41.00 for 3 courses. Plus, on Wednesday, they offer a wine down Wednesday for 1/2 price wines. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. A wonderful restaurant.

My wife and I enjoyed everything. Food and service was perfect. I had even foolishly spilled my drink and broken the glass on our table, everyone helped to fix the situation ensuring i hadn’t felt bad about it.

Recently moved back to New York and was delighted to find Chadwick’s still as wonderful as ever. A real quality restaurant. The food, the service. The upscale ambience were all wonderful. A big bonus for me was the clean bathroom. We will be returning 👍🏻

Food was delicious & prepared exactly as requested. The wedge salad was delicious with plenty of bacon & blue cheese. There was one leaf of wilted lettuce & tasted funny. Filet mignon was perfectly done & tender, not one ounce of fat. The ahi tuna was delicious & the sauce it was in was not overwhelming. Nice veggies included & starch with each meal. I would definitely come back.

Went to celebrate a birthday during restaurant week. food choices were great. i got the linguine with shrimp and my guest had mahi mahi. everything was delicious and the service was great too.

Our server was so nice! The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had with the options of two sauces. We both got the filet steak which was amazing and to finish off some espresso martinis which were also outstanding

Lunch menu is basically bar fair which I can get at any place for half the price. The service was decent martini was great. The rest was just average. I wish they would also offer the dinner menu during lunch. I’m sure sure that’s much better.

A perfect local RVC spot for a dinner out as a couple, a family, or a group. As 2 couples we had a very attentive waiter who got everything right and was always visible. Martinis were perfectly made and my wife’s dirty martini was notable NOT overpowered by a heavy hand of olive juice. They offer very few specials, but, to be honest, the menu offers enough delicious plates. Calamari appetizer was good and came with a slightly spicy red and a garlicky white dipping sauce. The thick-cut bacon was perfectly cooked and the maple-bourbon glaze was tasty but a little too much on the plate in my opinion. As entrees the short ribs were tender and rich. We couldn’t stop raving about the stuffed pork chop. Boneless, it’s stuffed with prosciutto and gooey fontina and richly covered in a mushroom Madeira sauce. We indulged on a double chocolate cake dessert which was not overly dense or rich and the caramelized apple tostada was was a flaky crust topped with an an apple pie filling I could swim in. Because of its proximity to the center of RVC and the LIRR, Chadwick’s should be everyone’s stop for a pleasant dinner out.

Delicious food with several different options to choose between. It was also Long Island Restaurant week so we truly had many choices. We each enjoyed our appetizers as well as our entrees and desserts. We have gone for many years and still enjoy going for dinner.

A real top notch dining experience with perfect service throughout the evening. We started with some wonderfully creative hand-crafted cocktails with a compliment of apps (burrata toast and beet salad), which were both made with such fresh delicious ingredients that just danced on your palate. The entrees of stuffed pork chop and chicken bruschetta were prepared perfectly and paired well with a sumptuous bottle of red. We look forward to our next visit, which will be soon.
