A friend suggested the series "Wire in the Blood" for me one day and at that time I have never heard of Robson Green. I liked the series right off and wanted to know more about this actor named Robson Green, so I checked IMDB, but of course it doesn't give you a more personal look of the actor. I started to look around to see if there where any books on him. To my delight I found out he wrote a book himself. I prefer biographies written by the person themselves. Granted this is an older book and only covers the first half of his life, but it gives you a very good insight of Robson's up bringing, what drove him to pursue acting and his trials and tribulations in making it in show business. Any Robson Green fan will like this book. My only hope is that he writes another book telling us his story up until now!

I know this book is rather old - written in the mid 90s - but I bought it anyway. I'm a huge fan of RG and really had no idea of how he got into acting or some of his earlier work. This book is an autobiography so you get Robson's POV and a lot of insight into his career decisions. He comes off as a thoughtful, hard working man, much like the characters he plays on TV and film only with much more humor and emotion. I loved this glimpse into his life and I am really glad I bought it. If you're a fan you will be interested and entertained. He seems like a real guy, one you could enjoy talking to about all kinds of things from sports to politics to the classics.

The book arrived earlier then promised, which was great. It was described as excel excellent condition which i believe it was,but during shippin g the corner of the book was damaged. Perhaps a little more protective wrapping before going into the shipping bag would have helped. It is still very readable.

Has remained faithful to his "roots." Seems to have a passion for every project he takes on. Am now enjoying his partnership with James Norton on "Grantchester." Very glad to find this book. Now he needs to write a sequel.
