Large collection of over 1000 tickets and ticket stubs for rock and roll acts performing at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, England, from 1974 to 1981, with dozens of tickets or stubs from each show. Includes: Van Morrison on March 24, 1974 (48); Robin Trower on October 21, 1974 (58); T. Rex on February 24, 1976 (70); Dr. Hook on June 9, 1976 (16); Patti Smith on October 28, 1976 (95); Rory Gallagher on January 17, 1977 (57); Television on May 26, 1977 (54); Deniece Williams on October 8, 1977 (88); The Runaways on November 12, 1977 (83); Ry Cooder on November 22, 1977 (77); Thin Lizzy on November 26, 1977 (23); Blue Oyster Cult on April 28, 1978 (39); The Tubes on May 18 and 19, 1978 (215); The Undertones on April 29, 1980 (55); and Spirit on June 20, 1981 (114). The collection includes a variety of ticket stubs, ticket-taker's stubs, and full tickets, some of which are stapled together in their original, incomplete ticket booklets. In overall very good to fine condition, with some scattered creasing.
