Always enjoying living right across the street from Robert and the boys as kids. Windsor was a good place to grow up with wonderful neighbors across the street. Sorry for your loss.

I first met Robert in 1993. I was a young bond salesman calling on him at the Citizens Bank. The fact of the matter was Robert would forget more than I could ever hope to know about interest rates and bond price behavior. Even so, he welcomed me and encouraged me and taught me a great deal. Not just about banking, interest rates and economics, but about life. He preached the Gospel daily...and rarely with words. He simply lived life with care and concern for others. And he treated all as a friend. His easy smile and sympathetic ear prompted a feeling of calm and cheer in everyone he met. And if you were inclined to discuss any sporting topic of mind (basketball in particular) you were in for a rich experience. Robert was a true fan! My life has been blessed by his friendship and his passing leaves a gaping whole in my days. But my heart is full for his most deserving Heavenly reward which now embraces him. Fare thee well Robert. I´ll miss you often, but I was blessed to call you "Friend" - Chris Thompson
