I was able to experience a lot in River Dell High School. There were times where I experienced difficulties with education, human relationships, etc. One of the biggest challenges I experienced was creating good relationships with people. I struggled to understand the high schooler's entertainment, so I felt like I didn't anyone to trust. However, my counselor's kindness have helped me learn how to become an adult, and so I was able to eventually meet people that I feel comfortable being with. Although, I have went through tough times, I think I can say that you will eventually find your place in River Dell High School, and get enough experience as a high school student.
River Dell High School is a place where anything is possible. Breaking athletic records, trips to Disney, competitive sports team, award winning musical productions, and so on. It's a place where scared, timid freshman become confident seniors who walk the halls full of pride. The faculty make sure that every student is accounted for academically and college wise, whether that be a teacher or a guidance counselor or even the school cook. The abundance of clubs can be a little scary but the opportunities that they offer are second to none, like our DECA club that takes trips to New York City show their members future values they'll hold for the rest of their lives.
Subtle changes here and there would be necessary, like revamping the school's auditorium to broaden the musical and theater programs production experience for the members and the audience and expanding the science courses to accommodate for the growing interest in STEM.

I think the school is good for character development but at the same time I think there are a lot of distractions that the administration allows to go on. A lot of students go down dark paths because of the lax approach that they take and there's no doubt they know exactly what is going on. 9/10 of the students are fake, no diversity and lot's of racism. All the things you would find at a school with over 70% white students. Nobody works to generate any school spirit successfully and I don't feel as if it's must of a community unless your involved in sports. However a lot of the sports are very cliquey as well except for a few programs that I can say were fun being apart of. Ultimately, I believe it's what you make it but it definitely is made difficult.
