It may be ‘(Un)Happy Hour’ for them, but it’s happy hour for us because Young Rising Sons just released a new song! But you can’t stop at one song when it comes to Young Rising Sons. In order to get the full experience, we have five other songs you need to listen to.
‘Happy’
This song is so uplifting, the lyrics must be positive, right? Wrong! But those are our favorites, because how are we supposed to get happy without songs like this. Before they claimed they were “happiest an unhappy hour,” Young Rising Sons were using this high-energy, danceable song to get out of their “dark places.” We want to be ‘happy’ too, and this song makes it impossible not to be!
‘Easy Dreamer’
Have you guys ever been searching for something but you’re not sure what? Sometimes all you need is “something to believe in” and a dream. If there’s one thing Young Rising Sons excels at, it’s making us feel like everything will be okay, if not today, then someday. ‘Easy Dreamer’ tells us to keep looking for that happy ending. And somehow, we can’t say no to them.
‘House of Cards’
This one is for those of you who are in a relationship where you would do anything for the other person. Is this a cute love song or a story of a codependent, toxic relationship? That’s for you to decide. It’s possible that they don’t know either, given the evidence to suggest either one. And the question makes it that much more interesting!
‘Coming Home’
‘Coming Home’ is cool because it’s so different than Young Rising Sons’ other songs. One might say it’s more edgy than the others. We like to think they’re talking to us when they say “We’re coming home to you.” And we would, of course, let them come home to us any day.
‘Be Like Yesterday’
Change is hard, right? We’ve stuck with upbeat songs so far because that’s what Young Rising Sons are so good at. But what we love about this song is that it’s more chill, but still so fun. ‘Be Like Yesterday’ addresses the difficulty of your life changing. Another thing they’ve never failed to do, though, is remind us that everything will work out in the end.
‘(Un)Happy Hour’
Now you’re ready! You’ve heard some of what Young Rising Sons are capable of. And now you can listen to the optimistic single ‘(Un)Happy Hour!’ Like so many of their hits, this song makes the best of their reality. It seems like nothing will bring these guys down. And we can’t help feeling the same way, it’s contagious!
