Captured by smugglers when he was just a hatchling, a macaw named Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) never learned to fly and lives a happily domesticated life in Minnesota with his human friend, Linda. Blu is thought to be the last of his kind, but when word comes that Jewel (Anne Hathaway), a lone female, lives in Rio de Janeiro, Blu and Linda go to meet her. This movie was, in my opinion, a magnum opus. This movie was beautifully animated with a compelling storyline to raise awareness of the blue macaw and its situation, it also has good music choices, and interesting scenery

A really fun movie with a great story, fantastic soundtrack, beautiful visuals, lovable characters, etcetera. I find nothing to criticize. As someone who came from a small tow, Blu is very relatable. His rizz game being atrocious is always funny as well. The fact that the movie got by with a G rating is interesting though considering all the sexual tension between Blu and Jewel throughout the film.

Synopsis
