Rangers star Ridvan Yilmaz has been called up to the Turkey national team in one of two changes for the Euro 2024 bound nation.
According to reports coming out of Turkey, the country has been forced into making two charges in their squad for upcoming friendlies against Hungary (A) and Austria (A).
Out has come Fenerbahce full-back Ferdi Kadioglu – who is reportedly being watched by the likes of Spurs – and club teammate Cengiz Under – who is replaced by first-timer Oguz Aydin.
Ridvan Yilmaz will hoping to leave an impression on Turkey manager Vincenzo Montella over the two matches with this the final squad before Euro 2024.

Turkey have qualified for the summer tournament and will be in Group F with Portugual, Czechia and an as of yet undetermined playoff winner.
Ridvan Yilmaz remains highly-thought of in his home country and it’s interesting that despite impressing with Rangers the left-back was actually initially dropped for these matches.
The ex-Besiktas left-back was recalled for November’s round of internationals – although he never added to his six caps – and now he’s just about squeezed into March’s squad.

It will raise some doubts about his Euro 2024 credentials but all the £5m Ibrox left-back can do is keep on working hard and impressing at club and international level.
