Let’s do this, discussions GO!
It took Curb Your Enthusiasm 10 years to reach 70 episodes.
It took Venture Bros 10 years to reach 63 episodes (not counting specials)
It took Rick & Morty 10 years to reach 69 episodes.
I miss the Venture Bros, sad it finally came to an end this year
I am really hoping it comes back. Another network, a spin off or even another movie. The creators want to make more and have said as long as they are able to they will create more Venture Bros.
Nice.
So, after a bunch of Morty-free episodes, we're getting a Rick-free episode?
I don't think we've ever had an episode with either Rick or Morty completely absent.
I thought there was (for Morty) but I must have confused with another family member, both are listed in every episode so far
yo..who ever wrote this was high as fuck
So high they forgot to include Rick in the episode
And jokes that weren't puns.
Can’t upvote this one enough lol
In the bad, unfunny, trying too hard way.
There were a few seconds where i appreciated the shitpost and movie-satire nature. A few seconds out the episode. I would say this is the worst episode in the series (following another very bad episode, following 3 very good ones), except this didn't even feel like a real episode. A couple minutes in I was doing that cope thing of waiting for the reveal that its all a meta joke about intentionally writing a garbage episode, a few more minutes later I wanted to quit for the first time ever in R&M I think, but then quietly suffered through it.
absolutely boring even when watching high
yeah i hate to shit on rick and morty cause its a cool show n all but this episode was ass
Serious question is this really Ice T voicing?
Not himself, he voices Magma Q, Harmon voices Ice-T like last time.
Kind like how Elon musk voiced Elon tusk
I liked that episode but CHRIST what an embarrassing cameo.
He wasn't quite at the level of hated he is now. But it was definitely still a weird time for him to be there lol

I believe Ice T is playing Ice T’s father.
Yes
That's pretty rad
If there are no 7 ate 9 jokes, im going to be sad
Sorry. Be sad.
Goddammit those were literally Cockadoodles crowing for the rising sun
Cockadoodle too
The density of puns in this episode was honestly insane
COCK kekw
the ceiling was poisoned 💀
best joke in the episode hands down
Best joke imo
what the fuck is going on
lmao
As someone that enjoys bad puns, this episode has been fun so far lmao
Cock-a-doodle!
Three-zus Christ!
The puns saved this episode for me. Like, damn, so good.
THANK YOU. This whole episode was just a smorgasbord of puns
This episode was incredible, I don't care what the rest of this sub says. Perfect corny movie send-up with pun after pun after pun. I'm so glad they did it.
So that’s two eps in a row with 69.
This one is written by Rob Schrab; he also the night fam episode and the Heist one. It's also directed by lucas grey, who has directed various episodes such as How poopy hot his poop back.
His episodes feel like a different show to me
He also wrote the planetina ep
Oof that explains it. All of those episodes are mid at best to me and I'm not feeling this one at all.
Night Family was mid to you? That's crazy.
I do think his main issue became really clear with this episode, he doesn't really write rick and morty. He just writes random shit with rick and morty in it. Like he just parodies a bunch of stuff while looking at the screen and saying "get it?"
Again though, night family was the exception to this. I loved that episode.
I love night family.
He also co-wrote Monster House, an episode of Creepshow, and the amazing Scud: The Disposable Assassin!
I fucking love monster house!! I'ven't seen the others tho, but that seems like something i need to check out
Yeah! He co-wrote it with his besty--Dan Harmon!
He didn't write the heist one, he wasn't even on the show yet, the episode he wrote was Planetina.
So they wrote one incredible episode with Night Family with the rest being big misses
Threezus Christ!
This episode is a fucking trip
lmao Back to the Future reference ruined with a fart
I feel like it was enhanced
That joke was actually pretty funny.

Godwin's law in action
I love when Morty calls out the other characters on being dramatic like this, one of my favorite things in the show
This is deeply stupid.
I feel I'm in the minority, but I think this was one of the funniest episodes just because of the shear density of puns. They have to have decided to write a whole (number) episode on how many puns they could fit into an episode and I was there for it.
Did you really laugh? My face was :| the whole episode
This seems like a cutting room floor episode.
They signed a big contract with cartoon Network for so many episodes that they figured they can get away with including a few marginal ones
Especially without Rick, I can't even stand it
I could barely pay attention to it lol kept catching myself looking at my phone

I think so
Totally Rickless
Poor little rickless bastard…
Happy belated 10th anniversary! 69 episodes in 10 years. Sounds appropriate!
“It’s an utter apostrophe!”
That was awful I loved it
I had to go "P"
Is Water T gonna gain the power and become Infini-T?
honestly would’ve been much funnier
Yeah wouldn't the infinity symbol replace the top of the T so he looks like a dick and balls
Get this man in the writers room NOW
Definitely
