- Ceramics Throwing Week - Beginners - Summer School
This is a fun practical beginner’s course, which aims to give you an understanding of throwing on the wheel.
You will have five days working on the wheel to make a set of mugs and/or bowls. This concentrated amount of time gives you the chance to really practice and master this rewarding technique. You will be taught by a professional thrower, who has over 10 years teaching experience. The course includes an evening glazing session later in the term to allow students to return and glaze their work from the summer.
- Jewellery - Absolute Beginners
This course is designed for individuals who have a passion for jewellery and want to learn the basics of jewellery making from scratch. Through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, participants will gain essential skills and knowledge to create their own jewellery pieces.
3D Modelling and Rendering with Enscape 3D
This course will be delivered online.
Real-time rendering with Enscape allows you to digitally stage space in an almost photo-realistic environment. Learning this software which is a plugin to 3D modelling programs such as Sketchup enables you to visualize materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment Layouts in real time prior to installation.
