Top 10: Sean Penn won’t return to ‘Gaslit’ until all cast, crew get vaccinated
Sean Penn has a rule for work, specifically for the series, “Gaslit.” He wanted all the cast and crew to get vaccinated or else, he won’t return to do it!
To make sure this would really happen, the Academy Award-winning actor offered to facilitate the vaccination effort, free of charge to all cast and crew through his nonprofit organization's community organized relief effort, according to deadline.
“Gaslit” tells the story of the Watergate scandal that rocked the administration of then US president Richard Nixon. Sean will play attorney general John Mitchell, Nixon’s most trusted adviser.
Joining him is Julia Roberts who will play Martha Mitchell, one of the first who told the public about Nixon’s involvement in Watergate.
“Gaslit” is set to premiere next year.
Top 9: First trailer of ‘The Walking Dead’ is out
Fans of “The Walking Dead,” I’m sure you’ve already seen the first trailer of the Season 11 or the final season of the series.
As expected, the action-packed scenes are highlighted featuring the major characters, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Ezekiel, Gabriel and Negan.
First part of the finale airs in August while the other parts will be aired in 2022.
Top 8: Rosamund Pike stars in ‘The Wheel of Time’
Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike is the lead star of “The Wheel of Time,” Amazon revealed in the first look of the series.
Rosamund plays Moiraine Damodred, a member of a powerful all-female organization called Aes Sedai who embarks in a journey mixed with magic, fantasy and super powers.
“The Wheel of Time” premieres in Amazon Prime in November.
Top 7: Documentary marks Amy Winehouse's 10th death anniversary
Ten years after her death, Amy Winehouse is still has a big impact on the music scene.
So in commemoration of her passing, a documentary entitled “Reclaiming Amy” is released, which features details of her death as well as the harrowing accounts of her rise to fame and struggles with addiction.
Her own mother, Janis Winehouse-Collins,. led the storytelling of her very own daughter’s life.
The documentary aired last Friday and was commissioned by Britain’s BBC Two and BBC Music.
It can be remembered how Amy’s death shocked the world especially the music scene when it was reported that she died from alcohol poisoning in her North London home on july 23, 2011. She was 27. Some of her hit songs include “Rehab” and “Back to Black.”
Top 6: International celebrities visit Manny Pacquiao
Amid his preparation and training against Errol Spence, several international celebrities visited Filipino boxing champion and Sen. Manny Pacquiao to say “hello” and for a photo opportunity.
NBA’s Jordan Clarkson, who won the 2021 Best Sixth Man Award, and apl.de.ap even watched for themselves Manny’s trainings and sparring sessions at the Wild Card Boxing club.
When asked who will be their bets, of course they both answered Pacquiao.
Prior to that, automobile review vlogger Alexandra Mary “Alex” Hirschi or popularly known as Supercar Blondie visited Manny too.
Top 5: Dindi Pajares appointed Miss Supranational Philippines
Because of the postponement of the Miss World Philippines pageant to give way to stricter quarantine restrictions, the organization decided to have the candidates vote for who should be their bet for the Miss Supranational pageant, which will happen on Aug. 21.
The coronation of Miss World Philippines was supposed to take place on Sunday, July 25, but had to be pushed to Aug. 8.
So, four candidates have been shortlisted to be our official candidate for Miss Supranational, and after the smoke cleared, Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan emerged victorious.
Dindi is a popular candidate as she's also joined Binibining Pilipinas before and was also a favorite candidate back then. Aside from being a model, she's also a Philippine Air Force reservist.
Dindi is set to fly to Poland next week.
Will she bring home the second supranational crown for the Philippines despite having almost no preparation? Go girl, the whole country would definitely be praying for you.
Top 4: Bea Alonzo enjoys sweet moments with Dominic Roque
Seems like Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque are ready to reveal their status as they continue to post their public displays of affection.
On their Instagram posts, the two stars are shown being really close and sweet with each other while on vacation in California, USA.
We previously reported that Bea and Dominic attended the baby shower of Beth Tamayo, Dominic’s aunt.
The two have been a hot topic since last year but they have yet to confirm their romance.

Yam Concepcion tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Miguel Cuunjieng in an intimate civil wedding ceremony in New York.
Recently, Yam shared her engagement moments with Miguel and clarified that it happened back in 2018 at Niseko, Japan.
In fact, she said she already had a copy of his hubby's wedding vows for years!
The two have been together for six years before they got married.

Just a few days before the premiere of “Gameboys The Movie,” Elikoy or Elijah Canlas and Kokoy de Santos appeared in a sweet video that will convince everybody that love should be celebrated.
Joining them are Adrianna So and other on-cam talents.
At the end of the video, it was further shown that the campaign was supported by the Pasig City local government.
