The Ole Miss and Mississippi State baseball teams are two of the six teams scheduled to play in the 2021 College Baseball Showdown in Arlington, Texas.

The showdown is the 2021 season opener for all teams involved, and it is scheduled to take place Saturday, Feb. 20 through Monday, Feb. 22. 

In addition to Ole Miss and Mississippi State, the field includes Arkansas, Texas, TCU, and Texas Tech. 

Of the six teams, No. 4-ranked Texas Tech is the highest-ranked team in the National College Baseball Writers Association 2021 Preseason Poll. It is followed by No. 5 Ole Miss, No. 7 Mississippi State, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 9 Texas, and No. 11 TCU.
