In all their interactions, and even when they are separate talking about the other with different people, it's never once been acknowledged that Billy is Chance's uncle. A few times it's been "Jill's grandson" or "Billy's mother Jill" but never has anyone pointed out the fact that they're related. It's pretty annoying. With all the "Billy is a mentor" to Chance talk and "drama" around Billy shooting down Chance's ideas, you would think it would come up. When Amanda warned Billy about not alienating "Jill's grandson"...I was like...they're really going out of their way to not address that they're related. Chance even refers to Jill as Jill and not grandma which is another weird thing. As the Chancellor Winters Drama continues, I would hope the writers give some type of acknowledgment about the family dynamic of these two. But I won't hold my breath.

You practically have to get out a road map to find the blood connection between Billy and Chance. It seems pretty obvious that Jill doesnt connect to the Chancellors at all except to run the company named after them.-
Huh? Billy's mother Jill is also the mother of Chance's father...very direct. Why would it be road map complicated? Phillip was thought to be dead for decades and Chance grew up away from Genoa City for many years so Billy and him were never close...but that doesn't change the fact they're very close relatives. -
You need a road map because Jill never mentions Philip, so much so that we forget she is his mother. I wasnt watching back then so I dont have that tidbit uppermost in my mind. I have to stop and think, "How is Billy related to Philip?" No one ever even mentions Philip. dimitridimera Billy and Phillip are only half brothers they have different fathers so no the blood connection between Chance and Billy is not strong or close at all

In line with that, we never ever hear Jill talk about her son Philip. Who does that? I actually dont remember that tidbit unless forced by circumstance. She never mentions Philip, never worries about him, never goes to see him. It's just weird. -

Why does have been acknowledged? It's obvious that Billy and Chance are related by blood. Jill is Billy's mother and Chance's grandmother. It doesn't need to acknowledged. It is there. And Chance is older than Billy too. Chance may not see Billy as an uncle though they are related.Comment

I honestly think this happens to a lot of the characters on the show! I mentioned that I think Abby and Kyle are cousins but it's not talked about. Lauren is also related to Billy since Lauren and Jill are half sisters! I don't even think the writers forgot, I think it's just something that is and not talked about.Comment
