Jesus Christ the In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Good evening, my dear brothers and sisters. Let us begin our Eucharist by realizing our sinfulness before God. We ask God's forgiveness so that we can be considered worthy to celebrate this memorial of faith. So, let us keep silent for a moment. I confess to almighty God. And to you my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do. Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore, I ask the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord, our God. May almighty God mercy on us. Forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life. Amen mercy. Christ, have Jesus So let us pray. Almighty ever living God, constantly accomplish the Paschal mystery within us. That those you were pleased to make new and holy baptism may under your protective care, bear much fruit, and come to the joy of life eternal. For we ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who live and reign with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit. One God forever and ever. Amen. A reading from the Acts of the Apostles. When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples. But they were all afraid of him. Not believing that he was a disciple. Then Barnabas took charge of him. And brought him to the apostles. And he reported to them how he had seen the Lord. And that he had spoken to him. And how in Damascus? He had spoken out boldly. In the name of Jesus. He moved about freely with them in Jerusalem. And spoke out boldly in the name of the Lord. He also spoke and debated with the hellliness. But they tried to kill him. And when he the brothers learned of this. He took him down to Caesarea. And sent him on his way to Tarsus. The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace. It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord. And with the consolation of the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. I will fulfill my vows before those who fear the Lord. The lowly shall eat their field. They who seek the Lord shall praise him. May your hearts live forever. All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord. All the families of the nations shall bow down before him. To him alone shall bow down. All who sleep in the earth. Before him shall bend. All who go down into the dust. And to him my soul shall live. My descendants shall serve him. Let the coming generation be told of the Lord. That they may proclaim to a people yet to be born the justice he has shown. A reading from the first letter of Saint John. Children. Let us love not in word or in speech, but in deed, in truth. Now this is how we shall know that we belong to the truth. And reassure our hearts before him. In whatever our hearts condemn. For God is greater than our hearts. And knows everything. Beloved. If our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence in God. And receive him whatever we ask. Because we keep his commandments. And do what pleases him. And his commandment is this. We should believe in the name of his son Jesus Christ. And love one another. Just as he commanded us. Those who keep his commandments. Remain in him. And he in them. And the way we know that he remains in us. Is from the Spirit. He gave us. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. Remain in me as I remain in you, says the Lord. Whoever remains in me will bear much fruit. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John. Glory to you oh Lord. Jesus said to his disciple, I am the true vine and my father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit. And everyone that does, he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me. As I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine. So neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit. Because without me, you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me, will be thrown out like a branch and wither. Gather them and throw them into a fire. And they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my father, glorify that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. My dear brothers and sisters, the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. My dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ fruitful life never comes from an easy life. If we always stay in our comfort zone we will bear nothing in our life, obviously. In today's gospel, Jesus told us to bear fruit. And he shows us how to bear fruit, how to do that. The first one is connected to Jesus himself. And the second one After that he say Allow yourself to be pruned by God. Allow yourself to be cleaned by God. My dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ bearing fruit means produce something good for others. We live for others. Produce something sweet for the common good. And make ourself useful for the common interest But remember, we have to be careful Jesus doesn't ask to bear our own fruit. What Jesus asked us to do is to stick in him. Stick with Jesus. Connected to Jesus. Connected to him. That is what we have to do. Bearing fruit is God's work. It's not ours. Once again, all we need to do is just stick to God. Connect it to God. This is not our works, this God's word. The second one how to bear fruitful life is a willingness surrender our life to be pruned by God, to be clean by him. To bear fruit, the tree must be cleaned from all the dead branches. This of course will hurt the tree. But it must be done so that the tree can bear fruit. Likewise, as human in order to bear fruit, we must be clean. We must be cut off by God. And you know sometimes when God do the cleaning process, it can really be hard for us. Sometimes God cleans us in a painful way. Sometimes he has to cut our ego off. Sometimes he take away our pleasure. And he moved away. He moved us away from our comfort zone. Or even worse sometimes he takes someone we love from us. But when he when he do this he doesn't do this because he hate us. He doesn't want us to suffer. He do this. He do that because he want us to bear fruit. So my dear brothers and sisters, when our life in supper, when we are experienced suffering in our life, please don't judge too quickly. Maybe it God's way so that we can bear fruit in our life. Remember once again, our job is just stick to God. Connected to him. He will do everything for us. Brothers and sisters A fruitful life never come from an easy life. It comes from a struggling life out of our comfort zone. Amen. Let us now profess our faith. I believe in God. The Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. Prayer of the faithful. As we affirm our faith in Jesus, our Lord, we thank our heavenly father and ask him to fill us with his choices, blessings. Our response, Father, make us grow in your love. Father, us grow in your love. Keep the church in your love. Guide and protected. Guide and protect all church leaders. And make your people a living in the transformation of the world. We pray. Father, make us grow in your love. Bless all families with your strength and love. With your joy and peace, with health and laughter. We pray. Father, make us grow in your love. Grant the sick and the lonely. Those in bondage and those in exile receive consolation and help. We pray. Father, make us grow in your love. Embrace our departed loved ones into your loving arms. For being with you is their true home. We pray. Father, make us grow in your love. For those who offered masses to be celebrated in the national shrine of our mother of perpetual help. May God their petitions and hear their Thanksgiving. We pray. Father, make us grow in your love. Heavenly Father, give us all the joyful reassurance that you're always with us through your son, Jesus, our Lord. Grant that we may never be separated from you, so that we may bear much fruit for your glory. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen. Scattered Pray brethren that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty father. May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name. For our good and the good of all his holy church. Oh God, who by the wonderful exchange affected in his sacrifice, have made us partakers of the one supreme God had. Grant we pray, that as we have come to know your truth, we may make it ours by a worthy way of life. For we ask is through Christ our Lord. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right and just. It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation at all times to acclaim you oh Lord. But in this time, above all, to love you yet more gloriously, when Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed. By the oblation of his body, he brought the sacrifices of all to fulfillment in the reality of the cross, and by commending himself to you for our salvation, so himself, the priest, the altar, and the lamb of sacrifice. Therefore, overcome with the Paschal joy, every land, every people exalts you in your praise, and even the heavenly powers, with the angelic host, sing together the unending hymn of your glory, as they acclaim. You are indeed holy, oh lord, the fountain of all holiness. Make holy therefore these gift we pray by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us, the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread and giving thanks. Broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, take this all of you and eat of it. For this is my body, which will be given up for you. In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples saying, take this all of you and drink from it. For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me. The mystery of faith. Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation. Giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly, we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring us to the fullness of charity. Together with Francis our Pope, Jesse our bishop, and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection. And all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your faith. Have mercy on us, holy bread, and with the blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God. With Saint Joseph, his blessed spouse, with the blessed apostles, and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages. We may Mary to be coherence to eternal life, and may praise, and glorify you through your son, Jesus Christ. Through him and with him and in him. Oh God almighty father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit. All glory and honors is yours. forever and ever As its savior command and formed by the divine teaching, we dare to pray. Us this day Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil. Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin, and save from all distress, as we await the blessed hope, and the coming of our savior, Jesus Christ. Of glory Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant our peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign, forever and ever. Amen. The peace of the Lord be with you always. And with your spirit. Let us offer each other the sign of peace. Brothers and sisters, Behold the lamb of God. Behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. The body and blood of Christ. Amen. Let us pray. Graciously be present to your people, we pray, oh Lord, and lead those you have imbued with heavenly mysteries to pass from former ways to newness of life. For we ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Bow down for the blessing. May the weakness of your devoted people steal your compassion, oh lord. We pray and let their faithful pleading win your mercy. That what they do not presume upon by daily merits, they may receive by your generous pardon, through Christ our Lord. Amen. And may the almighty God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, come up, come upon you and remain with you forever. Amen. Brothers and sisters, our masses of all let us go to bear fruit in our life. Thanks be to God. Burning
