Redemption Trail

Absolutely beautiful secluded slot canyons. It was confusing to find at first but after you walk about 0.7 miles into the trail, you take a quick detour over rocks to enjoy the beautiful view. Best if you don’t want to do the full trail but still want to enjoy some views. A little climbing involved but nothing too difficult.

Only did first part today and went into cave wall area along riverbed. Bring good grips on shoes to get thru it. Drank lots of water!! Good day as lots of breeze.

Mostly dry slot canyon in good condition - no snow, trail runners fine

While the clay isn’t too bad, come prepared for it.

Great hike today at Redemption Trail! Still a little bit of snow and some muddy areas on various parts. Little bit of water trickling through the canyon part starting at the end of Redemption Trail. Mostly sunny and over half dry.

Easily followed. Great views.

Beautiful hike and rock formations. Off the trail, there are lots of cool places to climb and wander.

trail in great shape. At end we turned right and followed Hard Times until we came to a gulch. We took this gulch back to Redemption Trail and it was the easiest I've ever hiked this gulch! Lovely day.

Nice trail…an easy afternoon. A bit anti-climactic ending, but not bad.

Easy to follow trails, wonderful rocks. Lots of scat near the trail. We took the trail past the slot canyon clockwise, on Redemption and then Hard Times which avoids climbing uphill on the Shiv.

Very pretty and easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend

Very hot in the summer. About perfect in November.

Definitely take the dry creekbed on the left at half a mile in, up to the canyon. Worth it!

Slot canyon is worth the scramble. I loved all the rock serrations.

Great day on the trail

Do minor slot, I did on return trip from top down. Easy to do. Canyon nice.

trail was bone dry. entrance to the slot canyon is by the funky dry tree about .5 to .6 miles down on the left side. it does take some climbing to get in and up but worth it if you can! Did not see 1 other person on the trail.

This hike is a lot harder than it seems. The mini slot canyon says it’s .5 miles in but it seems much much longer than that. It’s extremely hot and not very much shade. Bring lots and lots of water. Definitely worth it but be prepared to walk far and up and down steep paths.

Bring loads of water. And I'm sure the trail is like Broadway to experienced hikers. But it crosses a number of creek beds, and it's easy for less avid hikers to wander up or down one of those for a minute before you realize it's not the trail. Just keep your head up.

For my first hike since back surgery- I felt great!

Beautiful canyon views, especially at the end of the trail.

Cool spaces to go explore! Almost no shade so bring LOTS of water or plan to go on cooler days
