When it flashes purple means ur friend just came online it detects even if you are on airplane mode
That’s not it. I’m looking at my Switch right now and I currently have no friends online and it is doing the described behavior repeatedly. It’s as if it knows I made this post and is mad at me lol. I’m also not clear how a device with no network connectivity or even a battery can detect when my friends are online if my Switch isn’t connected. That doesn’t make much sense to me.
To add to my OP, I have disabled gameplay rumble and I have disabled rumble as a form of notification in the Switch settings, and I have also reduced the rumble setting to 0 on the Nitro Deck hardware itself. And yet!!! It keeps rumbling! Absolutely insane behavior!
And to be clear, it’s not the light flashing that bothers me, it’s the rumble. It’s buzzy and loud and rattles whatever surface it’s on. It does it constantly throughout most days and I’m at my wits end.
CONFIGURING TRIGGER BUTTON ACTUATION SETTING
The Nitro Deck’s trigger buttons can be adjusted to three diferent travel settings.
STEP 1
Press and hold “ZL” and Plus Button (+) for 3 seconds. When the
Home (CRKD) button LED starts flashing Cyan, you can begin
adjusting the trigger button actuation settings.
STEP 2
Use the plus (+) button to increase travel and minus (-) button to
decrease it.
After the trigger button actuation setting has been adjusted,
the Home (CRKD) button LED will turn back to white after 5
seconds if no further adjustments are made.
Note: Turn on rumble for haptic feedback during adjustment.

Yes, it's exactly that, copy/paste from the manual with a link to the manual. If the directions for the cyan color don't work, maybe the blue, or maybe the clear all directions might help. Good luck.
I don’t understand the value in posting a copy pasta resolution for an issue I’m not having though. I’m not having an issue with the shoulder button sensitivity so why would you reply with this?
The color of the LED, the rumble... The "Any ideas"
Maybe your deck is stuck in an accidental adjustment. Maybe try the clear all buttons.
