Check out the new official red band trailer for "Boy Kills World," a new hyperkinetic action revenge thriller starring Bill Skarsgard, from "It," "Barbarian," and "John Wick 4."

The film, produced by veteran genre filmmaker Sam Raimi, seemingly blends the visual flair of "Kill Bill" with the nostalgic fighting video game aesthetics of classics like "Street Fighter" and "Mortal Kombat."

Here, Skarsgard stars as "Boy," a mute-deaf orphan consumed by a desire for vengeance. Guided by an inner voice narrated by comedian H. Jon Benjamin of "Archer" fame, Boy embarks on an unyielding quest for justice after fleeing to the wilderness following the brutal slaying of his family. After encountering a mysterious martial arts shaman, Boy finds himself transformed into an unstoppable force of retribution, propelling him onto a path of blood-soaked vengeance.

Famke Janssen, known for playing Jean Grey in FOX's "X-Men" film franchise, co-stars as Hilda Van Der Koy, the sinister matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty responsible for the devastation of Boy's family. To confront her, Boy must first overcome a series of formidable enforcers and loyal minions, reminiscent of levels in a video game, before confronting the Big Boss.

Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Andrew Koji, Sharlto Copley, Isaiah Mustafa, Yayan Ruhian, and Brett Gelman round out the cast.

The film marks the feature directorial debut of German filmmaker Moritz Mohr.
