Background: This is Ben Stiller's production company. It was named after the "red hour," a period of rioting in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Return of the Archons."

1st Logo
(1999)
[]

Nickname: "Creepy Jester" "REEEEEEDDDD HOOOOOOOUUUURRRR!!!"

Logo: On a black background we see the face of a jester with wide eyes and a fixated grin. The words "RED HOUR" are in a messy red font at both sides, along with some splats.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Two echoed screams of the company name "Red Hour!"

Availability: Appeared on Heat Vision and Jack.

Editor's Note: This logo is one of the stranger logos of it's time, and the screaming of "Red Hour" can be mistaken for something a bit worse...

2nd Logo
(2007-2008)
[]

Nicknames: "Greetings from Lost", "Creepy Jester II"

Logo: On a black background, we see a black timeboard showing 11:59 in white. Then it changes to 12:00 in red. It begins to quickly flip through red and white digits, splitting into three changing timeboards in the process as an image of the jester in the background. The timeboards get in one line, showing RED HOUR FILMS under the image of the jester.

FX/SFX: Animation of the board.

Cheesy Factor: The logo is very, very dark.

Music/Sounds:

  • On Blades of Glory, it has the orchestra piece.
  • On The Ruins, it is silent.

Availability: Was seen on those above.

Editor's Note: The logo is so dark that the face almost literally disappears. The lack of screaming, however, does make this logo easier for some to watch.

3rd Logo
(2008-)
[]

Nickname: "The Jester"

Logo: A red card is spinning, depicting through flipbook animation the jester, in silhouette, doing tricks and catching a staff. After a few moments, the card stops still with the picture of the jester walking with the staff behind. The words RED and HOUR are seen in red, on the top and bottom of the card respectively.

FX/SFX: The card spinning and flipbook animation.

Trivia: This was designed by Prologue.

Cheesy Factor: Same as before, the logo is too dark.

Music/Sounds: Card flipping sounds.

Availability: Currently seen on Tropic Thunder30 Minutes or Less, and The Big Year.

Editor's Note: Since the creepy face from the previous two logos is removed, this logo is a lot less creepy
