Rebecca Hall anchors KTLA’s signature sportscasts on Saturdays and Sundays. She also reports from sporting events during the week.
Since joining KTLA in 2010, Rebecca has been front and center in the sports scene, providing live reports and analyses of Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, Angels, Kings, Ducks, and USC and UCLA teams. She reported live from Staples Center when the Lakers captured their 16th NBA title in 2010. Rebecca also covered the Kings’ Cinderella journey in 2012, reporting from the ice alongside the Stanley Cup, as the Kings captured their first-ever NHL title. Whether it be reporting from the sidelines of the Rose Bowl or interviewing star athletes like Kobe Bryant or Matt Kemp, Rebecca’s passion for sports is infectious.
Prior to working in Los Angeles, Rebecca covered numerous men’s and women’s NCAA Final Four basketball tournaments. Some of her fondest memories are covering the “Tobacco Road” showdown between Duke and UNC basketball teams.
Before joining KTLA, Rebecca was a news and sports anchor at WTVD-TV in Raleigh, N.C. Before that, she worked in upstate New York for WXXA-TV and WNYT-TV in Albany, N.Y. While in college, Rebecca spent time working in sports at WNBC-TV in New York City, and WXIA-TV in Atlanta.
Rebecca attended the University of Georgia (go dawgs!) on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with degrees in broadcast news and sociology. While in college, Rebecca served as a football anchor/analyst for the live weekly football show “Georgia Gameday.”
In high school, Rebecca was a multi-sport athlete. She competed at the varsity level all four years in basketball, volleyball and track and field. Rebecca still holds the triple-jump record at Cherokee High School.
Raised near Atlanta but born in Michigan, Rebecca is a huge Wolverines fan, and she lives for college football season. In her free time, she enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
