View from the Capitol Suite...very nice!!
The Hyatt has great event Spaces. The Ballroom has plenty of space and the Capitol View room truly does have breathtaking views of the city. Great customer service as well.
Check out the Capitol View room on the 15th floor of you get a chance, there are some great views.

definately get a room with a view of City Hall! and, try the outside staircase near rooms one and two and see if you smell burgers!

In the heart of downtown, the views are great from about the 5th floor and up.

Visitors are not allowed in the pump rooms, but the pumps can be seen from outside and from a small rotunda.

Great open spaces, baseball fields, kids areas, tons of trees and relatively vacant on the weekdays.

For best viewing in an IMAX theater you should try to get a seat in the exact middle of the theater, midway down (about 3 rows from the top was perfect). It really makes a difference in an IMAX movie.

This hotel has great views and is walking distance to Raley Field, Old Town Sac and a ton of great restaurants & bars! ♥ it! We always stay here for long fun filled weekends of baseball and shopping!

If you're visiting the river, bring an empty garbage/grocery bag and pick up some trash along the beach. It's unfortunate how much garbage there is.
