    Fun Day
While this may be a small park it has a lovely feel to it and we had a great day. There are a variety of rides to suit all ages and the lines moved well so not much waiting time. The staff were friendly and the place is clean. The food is pretty standard theme park fare, good value in a meal deal for $13, ham and cheese toastie, chips and a drink. Worth a visit!

    Good fun for all
Plenty to do here for young and old, can be pricey for entry but most rides inside free after entry cost paid. Food is typical of a fun park, unhealthy mostly and not cheap. Some cosmetic work done since our last visit.

    Great little gem
What a great day out! Even though the weather was a bit of a drag there was still so much fun things to do. The lines were reasonable and the rides fun. We’ve been to big theme parks overseas and this little gem is great because you don’t have to deal with the long lines with waits of up to 2 hours!

The park is ok, but considering the entrance fee, it could be better. It's quite crowded. Food is good.

I have been to Rainbow’s End many times, and this time visited with my 6-year-old granddaughter. Rainbow’s End cannot compete in terms of its size or number of attractions with amusement parks around the world, which typically have numerous roller coasters and other rides to choose from. However, the friendliness of the frontline staff at Rainbow’s End is absolutely world-beating. It must be very challenging for them to remain positive doing highly repetitive jobs, but their friendliness and general attitude is superior to that of staff at all of the other amusement parks I’ve been to, including Disneyland and Universal Studio in Los Angeles, Alton Towers in the UK, The Efteling in the Netherlands, and Movie World on the Gold Coast. I don’t what the Rainbow’s End management does to engender such a positive attitude among all of its staff, but it is astounding and indeed something that many other companies could learn a lot from. As an example, my granddaughter had eight rides on the (only) roller coaster, which meant that I observed the guy running the thing over an extended period. He was awesome, sounding interesting (and interested) during each announcement at the start and stop of each ride, and methodically helping people into/out of the cars while very carefully and also very efficiently checking the safety of each of them (which is absolutely vital on such a ride). The relatively small number of rides at Rainbow’s End means that older teenagers would probably find the place a bit boring after a few hours, but for mid-teenagers and younger kids (including down to a few years of age thanks to the Kids Kingdom) this will give a solid 7 hours of entertainment, including for the adults looking after them IMO. It’s the best thing in Auckland for entertaining your kids for a whole day, and actually pretty cheap on a per-hour basis.

Great theme park, wasn't busy and everything was open, so able to go on everything once and most things multiple times.

This Park was the perfect place to take a friend's child to. The rides were exhilarating for him, especially the dodgems which had a suitably large track for participants to crash into each other in. The rollercoaster was also a highlight.

It’s good but I wish they made the roller coaster faster which is the only one there but they have rides for every comfort but the ones I loved are Stratosfear on extreme and fear fall and they even have a place for kids if they are too afraid to go on the rougher rides.

It was easy to fill the whole day with a 17 and 9 year old. The 9 yo was sad to find out he was too old for the children's area but still too short to drive the karts (150cm) but got over himself with the help of a goody goody gumdrops icecream. The staff were super friendly and we had loads of laughs on the rides. The weather was great, so all of the rides were open.
It looks like the lockdown periods have been used as an opportunity to clean up the gardens, plant out new, freshly paint, add some more models and deep clean the whole park.
We all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
