Wednesday being the warmest day in the capital, the heat wasn't too intense due to the cloudy skies and light showers in some areas of Delhi NCR.
He also mentioned that in April, Delhi might experience even higher temperatures. The weather office has predicted cloudy skies with light rain and drizzling for the next three days. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature could be around 20 degrees Celsius.

Weather Disturbance

A western disturbance has arrived in the Western Himalayas, and another one is expected to follow soon. These two systems, almost overlapping each other, will work together to keep the weather active over the mountains. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is forming over parts of North Rajasthan and border areas. This circulation will create an east-west trough, which will come close to Delhi. Because of the combined influence of the western disturbance and cyclonic circulation, there will be increased pre-monsoon activity over the plains of North India.
Although Delhi will be on the outskirts of these systems, it will still be susceptible to their effects. As a result, sporadic rain and showers are likely in the capital city and its suburbs over the next four days, until March 31st.

Delhi AQI

Throughout the day, the relative humidity ranged from 82 per cent to 33 per cent. The Air Quality Index (AQI), according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), has shifted to the 'moderate' category, with a reading of 177.
For reference, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good", 51 and 100 "satisfactory", 101 and 200 "moderate", 201 and 300 "poor", 301 and 400 "very poor", and 401 and 500 "severe".
