Located atop a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Kasbah of the Udayas is said to be a city within a city. Its beautiful white-washed builidings with blue trim make the site a magnificent place to visit.

Rabat is a very clean city. Not a lot to see. Pleasant and safe to walk around. Great place to start your trip and get acclimated. Had a great walking tour.

Iconic spot for history and architecture. Well worth making a stop to admire and take some photos. The area is accessible and well kept. Light is good for photos as there are not many shadows or obstructions to navigate and consider when framing a shot. Crowds were light and parking was easy.

The ancient vibe is definitely worth experiencing when you’re traveling to Rabat. There are many buildings with the strikingly beautiful blue and white scheme. The Andalusian garden and Kasbah of the Udayas should be visited on the same day.

Our small hotel was in middle of the old town so we spent a lot of time here exploring all the nooks and crannies of this older section of Rabat. This was our first city and night in Morocco (after arriving in Casablanca early that morning), so this made our time here that much more special. Compared to other similar areas in other Moroccan cities, this is not as big or features as many shops but it’s still worthy of a look. Every corner was a new discovery (a small garden, an old store or an architectural treasure).

I missed this place the first time I went. There were multiple gates, so you have to enter the right one. Very nice, well-kept gardens. A cafe was located next to the gardens so you can have tea or coffee with some type of pastries. One guy walked around with tray of pastries. You grab what you want and pay on the spot. Bathrooms were available but you need to pay.

A great day out. A good range of animals to see and a great walk around the site itself.

We were lucky enough to feed the giraffes by hand and it was such a wonderful experience.

Was great to visit the Cuban art exhibit. Some great works. I especially enjoyed the works of satire on display.

There was also a cool one-off Monopoly board, rendered in neon.

What a delightful surprise hidden in mist of the medina! I discovered the museum by accident and was enchanted by this special place - the collection, the building, the proprietors´ passion. Really worth a visit.

You were allowed to visit the outside of the Palace but not inside. There was an invisible line where you could not cross. You need a local guide to help you avoid getting in trouble with the guards. When the water fountains work, that means the King was present at the Palace. We were part of an organized tour.
