    Great arena for hockey games
We visited the arena for a Hershey Bears hockey game. The arena is huge and even though we were in section 202, near the top, the view of the ice was great. Plenty of concession options, and a large concourse to walk around. Club level areas looked very nice. Only complaint was the parking process. Hard to make a left turn into to parking lot, then had to drive around the complex to park. The parking lot is shared by Hershey Park, so you have to make sure you are in the correct lane. Parking also was $15 for the game, which isn’t horrible. It was a fun night, and would recommend this arena for hockey or other events!

Great show, but the Parking fee has got to go !
Cirque du soleil was amazing. It was my first time to see them. The Giant Center, however, was a money pit, overcharging for everything from water to french fries. I have to say that the real shocker was the parking fee. After paying about 78$ for tickets to the show, we were slammed with a $20 parking fee! Unbelievable! To top things off, the parking attendant was rude and when I questioned the exorbitant cost of parking, she rudely said, how about if I just let everyone else go around you. Very unprofessional.

Nice Venue - Maybe, 20-30K People Seating
Went here to see Cirque Du Soleil. Loved the venue and I would come here again for a concert or something else. We sat in section 126, row V, seats 14 & 15 - basically the two end seats at the next to last row. The seats were great because they were in the center of the stage with an excellent view. We both had knee surgeries, so just four steps down to our seats and sitting on the end just topped it off for us. The seats also made it easier to get out of the arena when the show was over. Parking was $20 for the show. I don't know if this was for everything held here, but it's typical parking for places I've been. I thought the parking was plentiful - a lot of handicap spaces. What surprised me the most is that they measure the size of the bag/purse you can bring inside the venue - about the size of a 6 x 8 picture frame. Typical lines for women's bathrooms.

We attended a Hershey Bears hockey game last night (two hours from home after working all day) which was rescheduled by the organization from a Sunday game that we had tickets for which we couldn't exchange or be refunded thanks to Ticket Goofs' policy of not helping the customer in any way...so to the game we went, and by the time we arrived all of the close parking spots were of course, taken. So we found a spot way out, with no help at all from the parking "attendants" that were numerous, yet standing around doing absolutely nothing except staring at the cars coming in...can you tell that I'm a bit sour about this experience? So into the venue and eventually to our seats we went, and since someone else was in them, we sat in the row behind, which was fine since it was a Tuesday and only about half full there. Now, about the venue...noisy AF, not due to crowd noise, but to the way too loud decibel levels of the sound system there. And every couple of minutes, shouting at the crowd to GET LOUD! LOUDER! NOW LOUDER! And so on. I don't know how the players can stand it. There were families there with little kids (and babies if you can believe that) and this kind of noise and racket constantly going on amongst snippets of rock/country/rap songs being blasted at all other times, is too much for young ears to endure. I could barely stand it myself and I've been to a concert or two in 60 years. There were attendants stationed at every entrance to the guest seats but not once did I see anyone come around except to shout "Peanuts, cold beer here" or whatever it was they were hawking during the whole game. One old guy who was in our row, naturally, actually fell on the concrete steps, sending his fries flying and I imagine spilling his beverage on himself, right next to hubby. Did one employee come down to the third row to check on him? Not one! I regret that I have already purchased tickets to another event in this venue that I can't get rid of. Ticket Goofs (think of a major overpriced ticket seller) and this place have a monopoly on your leisure time dollar. Frankly, I'd prefer not to return but I have to for a concert.

I've been going to Hershey Bear's games for my whole life. They've been great up until now. You're basically not allowed to have any kind of purse/bag of any kind; we had to walk all the way back to our car to drop off my wife's purse. I had to put her debit card in my pocket. Although they claim to have smoking areas (which they've always had), they did not. I was told that I would have to buy another ticket to get back in if I went out for a smoke. Followed up by "all the places are doing it like this now."

They got rid of I'd say 60% of their beer stands; normal beers, Labatt, Yeungling, etc, and only had an organic tap brew which cost waaaay too much. Like, legit $15 for a baby cup. I basically had to sit out the whole 2nd period and watch from the concourse bc the attendant wouldn't let me to my seat bc I didn't have a ticket. My wife had our tickets on her phone, she was seated at our seats...I mean, I'm in the building, wearing an "over21" wristband. How did I get in? Am I John McClane? Anyway, couldn't even enjoy a good bear's game. Not because of the bears, but the venue. It done got bad apparently.

Came for a concert, we were a group of 8. We’ve been to tons of venues, but this one was disappointing. We got there at 5:45 for the gates to open at 6, and we were checked and scanned in by 6:30, which was awesome. However, Limited merchandise areas meant LONG waits on the line. We waited over an hour to get up to the table and missed the whole first band perform. When we got up to our seats, we found they were so small. I am a heavier girl and thought it was just me…. However, my husband and sister-in-law both complained that the seats were too small as well and they were uncomfortable. Then, using the women’s bathroom was atrocious. Each time I went in, maybe 3x the whole night, it was filthy. It didn’t seem anyone had been tending to it at all. There was also a very drunk and belligerent man a couple of rows in front of us, and the woman who was stationed in our area to “watch” and keep order did literally nothing as he shouted obscenities throughout the concert. Normally, it’s not a huge thing, it’s a concert and some of this is expected, but the guy was beyond rude and nothing was done to tone him down or curb the behavior. This arena needs an upgrade big time, as well as a revamp to make merchandise purchasing easier and faster. We won’t return here.

What a great time! Minor league hockey is often an overlooked entertainment opportunity, but if you ever get the opportunity to see a Hershey Bears game, do it! We sat in the front row of the upper bowl, and only complaints would be that the seats are pretty tiny and close together as well as the cup holders are right on the armrests which doesn’t make it mighty convenient to get to when you’re right on top of the other person. The sound in the building from the Jumbotron was very hard to understand as well. Other than that, the quality of the souvenir drinks was impressive, and overall the food value was decent. We also purchased a bears replica jersey since I liked the logo and was a pretty decent quality of stuff in their store as well. We will definitely be back! Oh, and Coco the mascot was great!

We went to see Disney on ice with a 4, 3, and 2 year old and they would not allow us to take in gallon bags with the kids empty sip cups and change of clothes, wipes and diapers. I went back to my car and put the things in the diaper bag but they would not allow that either because it was too big. I was so stressed out the entire time worrying one of the kids would have a bathroom accident. In addition they don’t want any outside food/drink and would not allow me to bring a single bottle of water. Our 3 year old has had severe medical issues and we try to keep him well hydrated. Then inside the arena the prices of food and drink are absurd! $20 snow cones and $15 lemonades., etc. I understand this is a for profit show, but this was ridiculous. And fumbling up and down steep stairs with toddlers and the individual items we bought because we couldn’t have a bag was crazy! Not family oriented at all!

Hershey box office sucks they are no help at all. I could not even get my questions answered. I asked bob to speak with a manager and he said they do not take call you must send and email to speak with one of them. What if i was a elderly person who does not know how to work a computer. The way they have their box office is lack of communication, help.

According to the email confirmation for our event, giant center is a totally cashless venue. However, the first thing we had to do was pay $ 20 cash to park. Then inside the person selling water said, oh this is cash only. Just be prepared to have some cash on hand. The restroom situation is a mess. They only had one restroom available for use on the main level and the line was long. After the event was over, the parking lot was chaos. When you pay for parking, why is there no traffic control when it’s time to leave. We sat in the parking lot for over an hour.

1/2 wait in cold weather waiting to go thru security to enter for a concert. Intermission and line to on floor restrooms was packed, nobody saying that other restrooms upstairs had no wait times. Nice place for a concert.

Nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Good drink selection but the lines were ridiculous. In fact, we wanted to grab food for dinner here but opted to leave early and eat elsewhere to avoid the long lines.
